Went with my husband to Finca Vibran to spend the long July 4th weekend. It was the best decision we made for a short relaxing trip. The surroundings are "heaven like", incredible views, 100% nature at it best! The rooms were 5 stars so was the attention we got from the owners. We highly recommend this incredible place. Next time (planning more days there) we'll book tours to the beach and major tourists attractions. They will arrange it all for us! Thank you Castro family! We will be back.....

Excellent location, above the mosquitoes, and with terrific views. Quiet place with lots of places to see nature and plenty of bird watching. The rooms are really outstanding for a B&B. This is above Grecia on Poas Mountain. If you are looking for a luxury property look no further.

Finca Vibran is a beautiful B&B that sits on a large, lushly vegetated property about 45 minutes NW of the San Jose airport. Hospitality and service of the owners and staff was first rate, all were extremely helpful and made us feel as we were part of their family. They were also very helpful in suggesting itineraries and point of interest in the area as well as arranging for transportation. Views are incredible and the rooms were well designed with numerous amenities. Great place for a relaxing get-a-away or as a base to explore points to the north and west of San Jose.

Stayed here a couple times now and it's such a great place that is off the beaten path. Located in a town that you need to drive around in, it provides the perfect 2-3 day disconnect from the hustle of the city. The owners are wonderful people and extremely kind. A great place for couples traveling and need a rest stop. Highly recommended.

Great Costa Rican experience. The location is a little remote and challenging to get to but thats 1/2 the charm. The property is in immaculate condition, rooms are extremely nice and cleans. Impressive views of the valley and city below.Owner Louis Castro took really good care of us. We enjoyed his company so much we invited him to dinner with us one night. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this property for only one night during our trip to Costa Rica. Wished we could have spent more time at this very beautiful property with breathtaking views. The rooms were very well decorated with small added touches like big fluffy robes to use. As we were sitting on our porch before breakfast the owner came over with a tray of fruit smoothies and warm delicious scones. The breakfast was very good with a variety of things to eat. SInce I do not eat meat or eggs they made sure I had a variety of things to eat as well. We had bought some white wine and the owner chilled it for us.After a recommendation for a wonderful dinner spot we enjoyed our wine from one of their many sitting areas. There were wine glasses in the room to use. These owners know how to make a guest feel welcome. They were so helpful and friendly! If we ever make it back to Costa Rica we will stay here and make day trips....Loved, Loved it here!!!! Highly recommend

This was not our first time to finca vibran, and it won't be our last. First, it doesn't get more beautiful than here. It's amazing. Then, the hospitality is unmatched. Adrian was an immediate friend.(ask about bbq) Our flight was delayed by several hours and he waited until 2am to greet us. And he was happy! Or acted the part. He cooks an amazing breakfast, too. I was sad to not see Liliana and Luis (the owners) but they have left the property in great hands, once again. (Karina was also amazing)! There are short trails to hike and thousands of hummingbirds and butterflies. The views are amazing. The caretakers of the property, Jorge and Wendy are lovely. Jorge gave us many different fruits from the property and was so great with our 5 year old son. If you are wanting to not be in the middle of crazy tourism, and want something more authentic with a big dash of comfort, this is your spot.

We stayed at Finca Vibran while on a client Field Trip in Costa Rica. Our group of four were travelling around Costa Rica visiting coffee farms. Finca Vibran was a convenient place to stay while touring the coffee areas. Rooms were ok, water tepid / cold. Scenery was nice, Wifi did not work. People won't be staying at Finca Vibran on business but we were, so that matters as much as we wish that it did not. Breakfast very nice the next morning - could not really say the place was anything but convenient for us. Could not pay by credit card on check out which was awkward and begs the question what you would do paying for 4 rooms if I did not have the cash. Finca Vibran was nice, but everyone else staying here writing the TripAdvisor reports would have a different perspective

We stayed over the weekend with my family and we all had a lot of fun. You feel like in a remote mountain away from the city, but you are just an hour away from San Jose. The house is beautiful and our hostess was very helpful. Kids enjoyed exploring around and we loved the beautiful view.

We spent two nights at this b&b and loved it. It is located in the hills, in a residential area. It is approximately 45-60 minutes from the San Jose airport, and about an hour from the Poas volcano, which is a lovely drive from the Finca Vibran. There are many good "sodas" (local restaurants) close by (10 mins by car).

The rooms are very clean, and very nicely decorated. The shower has hot water. There is no AC, but you do not need it, as this area gets quiet cool in the evenings (10 degrees Celsius in February - summer).

Lastly, the property manager (Karina) is lovely... she made us a delicious breakfast each morning and gave us good information on nearby places to visit. Would we stay here again? Absolutely and without a doubt!

Good morning .We are located 10Kms from the Central Park in Grecia. Here at Finca Vibran you can relax , there are different areas to do so, with magnificent views and a lookout area that you see all the Cental Valley. Staying here you can do day trips to the Coffee Tour in the nearby town of Naranjo, visit Volcan Poas, La Paz Waterfalll, Sarchi where they make the painted oxcarts and also visit the rustic Los Chorros Waterfall, there is a hike to get there. Let us know if you decide to stay at Finca Vibran, you are going to be pleased you choose this B&B. Sincerellly Lilliana

"Two of the rooms look directly over the valley and have great views from their terraces, but may get a bit warm during the day. The other two have no direct view, but are very shady. There is a nice rooftop deck open to all the guests."

"All four rooms are exactly equal with king beds and upscale bathrooms. The décor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. All rooms have a porch with chairs to sit and enjoy the views from the top of the hill."
