Alonso and family have a lot to be proud of. They are a great family who operate this hotel and private houses across the street. Beautiful properties. Great locations with easy walkable access to town and to the waterfall. Daily cleaning. Alonso went out of his way and Helped set up transfers to Liberia for us. Cannot wait to come...

The cabins are large and clean, with the added bonus of AC and cable TV. However, it was very damp inside the cabin and when it rains the tin roof means it is incredibly loud and impossible to even hear yourself think. Perhaps they could do something to improve this? That being said, the bed is huge and comfortable and...

Really beautiful cabin, spotless and modern complete with a balcony and deck. well maintained grounds and property is close to all major area attractions. Great service! breakfast is served across the street and you get delicious, warm meal for only $7. I would highly recommend staying here rather than the overcrowded, overpriced touristy places like Baldi or Tabacon. only regret...

We stayed in the Deluxe cabin for 4 nights, which is their nicest room and they only have 2 of them. This was one of the nicest rooms we had during our Costa Rica vacation. The room included a comfortable king bed, comfortable pillows, very efficient AC, seating area, flat screen tv, safe, mini fridge and little kitchenette, lots of...

Loved the dual exits in the cute cabins that led out to well maintained gardens. The owner was gracious to allow us a late checkout despite us having to change our plans to stay longer. Walking to La Fortuna was delightful too. Great restaurants in town.

I am one of those tourists who does not like places that seem too inundated with tourists as La Fortuna can be. Of course, we all come because there is so much to see in the area. Hotel Rancho Cerro is a perfect place to stay for people like myself. Close to all of the attractions, especially the La Fortuna...

Great stay here at this family run 'hotel' - individual bungalows scattered around a beautiful garden. We had a deluxe bungalow, which was a great size with all the amenities we needed. A huge TV but who has time for that with so much to do around La Fortuna! We booked activities through the hotel before arrival and everything was...

This property is wonderful and the cabins are perfectly charming. We stayed as a couple in the Superior Cabin in the last one of the row, which provided a good amount of privacy. Decor was simple and lovely, the cabin was solid with high pitched ceilings, clean and spacious. The kitchenette was great for making our morning coffee and refrigerating...

Beautiful grounds with a river at the end of the gardens in which you can swim. With a car, it is the ideal spot for exploring the area, including La Fortuna waterfall ( not to be missed!!) and Hot Springs. Roy provided a warm welcome and even managed to save a sloth from the roadside. A real treat to see!...
