The breakfast was the usual rice and beans with scrambled egg and roasted plantain also a selection of fruit, fruit juice and coffee. The hotel was clean with a lift...

i was very pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern this hotel was. it was the best hotel i stayed in during my entire trip and amazingly the cheapest by far. The only reason i cant give it 5 stars is under no circumstances can you bring a guest to your room.

This was hands down a good hotel. When we arrived, we were tired from a long day of traveling and visiting falls. We were greeted by friendly faces that were thorough and helpful. We booked a tour for Rio Celeste we absolutely needed to do and the staff made other great recommendations. The room was simple, and comfortable. There was...

The hotel is centrally located with 24 hours reception. The rooms are clean and spacious with a massive bathroom. The air-con works well and WiFi is readily available in the rooms. I couldn't hear noise from other rooms or outside traffic which is rare in Central America. I didn't eat at the hotel but the food looked good and the...

Like another reviewer, we stayed here on a package deal booked by our travel agent, Pacific Trade Winds. We stayed here for 3 nights. Location: The location is downtown La Fortuna. There are several grocers and restaurants in walking distance, which was great for evenings when we were looking for food. There are also shops and several souvenir stores very...

Overall the staff was helpful from dining to housekeeping to the front desk. However, we experienced a flood in the bathroom due to an unusual design of a shower with no lip to contain the water. After having flooded the bathroom and bedroom we created a dam of towels around the shower and used a slower water pressure to avoid...

The rooms are nightmares and no aircon included. The fans are super loud. The place is painful just like the town itself is not worth a visit! Only good idea is to rent bikes at a place called bike arenal and let them drive you to the lake for a tour.
