Great location in the centre of town, close to all the restaurants, supermarket and activity providers. The breakfast was ok(not the best Costa Rican fare we've had), the terrace garden did not provide the expected views and unfortunately they was some construction work ongoing when we were there. Reception was very friendly and helpful in organising transfers etc

This hotel was amazing to say the least. Let's start with the view of Arenal volcano, it can be seen from the balcony as well as the main terrace area. The terrace offers a peaceful setting with a full bar and delicious appetizers. Very friendly staff overall which made us feel like family. It is a family owned hotel and...

This hotel is a great place to stay for those in a budget. When I first arrived I was a bit skeptical as the area looked a bit seedy. However once I entered into the hotel property found out it to be very clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The room...

We stayed in Las Colinas for 3 nights. Pros: great location, nice big rooms, great views of Arenal volcano. Cons: average breakfast, lots of road noise (our room was facing the road but I imagine all rooms would be noisy to some extent). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however we didn't have the best nights sleep whilst there. If we...

the place is nice, its has 2 stars, price is ok for that. Its in the middle of La Fortuna, close to everything. I had a room on the 3rd floor with a nice baclocny and ok view of the park (ok since there is a lot of electric cables and building, not the hotels fault). The complementary buffet breakfast,...

Stayed 3 nights as part of G Adventures hotel. Comfortable no frills kind of place with a fantastic view of Arenal volcano. Stayed in a massive twin room (it probably could have slept 5 in the 3 beds) with the room looking directly through the common area to the volcano. We didn't have breakfast included (and to be honest it...

Getting here and getting around is super easy. You are in walking distance to all the shops and cafe's, and tour buses can park in front easily. The staff were professional, kind, super friendly and helpful. I noticed that someone in the review said that the beds were not comfortable - all I remember is that I certainly got a...

The hotel was clean and had a decent breakfast. The beds were not great, bathroom set up with rack for clothes next to the toilet was odd, and no mattress covers under the sheets. Location was in center of town with great view of the volcano from the 2nd floor common area.

With that said, Las Colinas was perfect for us - clean room, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, plenty of hot water, great breakfast,...
