We have stayed here twice and enjoyed both times. The gardens and views are beautiful. The staff was excellent very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you white water raft while your there as well as atv around the volcano.

Like most "volcanic activity" spots, these thermally heated hot springs are therapeutic and wonderfully relaxing. Volcano Lodge & Springs has a nicer "gradually-cooling-as-water-reaches-next-level-down" soaking place than two nearby locations that tout their waters with big headlines. The people working here were polite, friendly (with one exception), and really nice. My husband and I have been in hot spring resorts in...

This place is amazing, it's gardens, and little pathways are fun. But, it's very sterile and keeps you from experiencing the people of Costa Rica. The staff are nice, well trained, and way too professional for my liking. This is in no way a negative review, the place is awesome. We just prefer a more organic experience.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel; it was a very short trip (Thursday-Sunday). The hotel is located in a great area (lots of tourists), and near many delicious restaurants. The rooms were very simple and clean (cable tv, clean restrooms, hot water, and a great backyard view). We got to see the Arenal Volcano on the day...

Though I did enjoy my stay here, whether you decide to stay here depends on what you want to get out of your vacation. Because the hotel is about 4 km outside of the main town, taxis charged $20 each way (for 2 people) so it was too expensive for us to explore the town of La Fortuna and even...

Swim up bar, happy hour, free breakfast, omg that volcano view!!!, towel art, nice room, good restaurant, good service, quiet, great wifi, comfy bed, I think I could go on forever. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly and efficient Bell Boy. Restaurant and Front Desk personnel not very cordial. Food very good, but restaurant not open until 7am, so not accommodating for early activities.

The room, gardens, breakfast, and definitely the pools were all fantastic. We paid about $100 for the basic room (no private pool) but found the main hot spring to be wonderful, so quite happy with our choice. The breakfast is buffet style and of good quality and variety. Even the basic cabin has large windows facing greenery with a small...

We loved our stay at Volcano Lodge. The property was beautiful, our room had an amazing view, free breakfast was good and staff was so friendly and helpful. We ended up booking all of our excursions through them and each one was great. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to visit again.

This hotel was the bonus of our whole trip. What a place!! Great rooms, good bathrooms, nice views to a cloudy volcano and the most amazing springs. You can use them all day and night, except for 2 hours from 5 to 7am when they clean it. Unfortunately the restaurant is extremely expensive, which I think is the very down...
