The bungalow style accommodation made it feel very private. Inside was very clean and having the AC was a welcome comfort. The beds were comfortable enough. Perhaps they could improve on the lighting especially by the bed when you are trying to read the brochures of activities you would like to do. We had cabin #2 with front row view...

When I checked in we received one complimentary volcanic mud facial, which of course led us to get another for my wife, at their spa. The spa was gorgeous, in the back of the compound in new outdoor bungalos, with the sounds of a creek, birds and natural flower smells that can't be replicated indoors. The second facial/massage was around...

Had the good fortune of staying here a few nights on my recent honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful place! The landscaping is delightful, the rooms are practically private cabins, you have a great view of arrenal peak in the morning. The air there even smelled wonderful! It has a very nice hot springs and spa on site as well. One complaint would...

Trip Advisor does it again! We chose El Silencio based on reviews, and it was everything all reviewers said. Great cabins with gorgeous gardens and beautiful views of Arenal, kind and helpful staff who help you with all your needs, excellent food and a fantastic hot springs pool that we visited every night. The experience was enhanced by the details....

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May and we loved it! The little casitas are simple, but are nice and private. The grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely view of the volcano. The staff are all very friendly and were very helpful for any of our needs. The breakfast that was...

I have to give credit to all the previous reviews I read about this place with helping me make my selection. The reviews about El Silencio are spot on! Beautiful, peaceful boutique resort to stay and only five minutes away from town by taxi. The staff are so sweet and very helpful with booking excursions or answering your general questions...

We LOVED Silencio del Campo. The only "ding" I have is that the a/c was not running prior to our arrival and it took several hours for the place to really "cool off". A ceiling fan in the Villas would also be a bonus. The concrete walkway to the spa and hot spring can get slick when wet. Brushed concrete...

This hotel is simple yet wonderful. The grounds take my breath away, the hot springs are warm and romantic, the food is delicious, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the views are amazing. We had 4 people in one room and did not feel cramped at all. You will enjoy this hotel and remember it always.

My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon in Costa Rica. I was a bit nervous arriving after 10:30pm, not knowing who would be around to check us in, but low and behold Julio was there to greet us. He came to our shuttle with large umbrellas as it was raining and escorted us to...

This was my favorite hotel in Costa Rica (room #20). Each room is clean, well-decorated, modern, and secluded for privacy but still connected. I had never seen a layout like it, and it was awesome. The hot springs were great (not crowded), the pool was nice, and the staff was super friendly! The food in the restaurant was great, reasonably...
