The grounds of Kokoro alone were amazing. I traveled with a yoga group and we did yoga on their outdoors pavilion every day - the wildlife and greenery made it seem almost surreal. Ms. Peggy and Long were FANTASTIC. She did everything from recommending restaurants to booking

We stayed for 3 nights and from the moment we arrived the manager Peggy made us feel so very welcome and could not do enough to ensure our stay was good. I liked the fact that she recommended places to eat outside the hotel rather than just push her restaurant. Dinner was good

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. Wonderful chalet with great views. The hotel manager, Peggy was particularly helpful in making sure our expectations were met. Not as fancy as some other local hotels, but they certainly have a nice personal touch.

Hi, Our two bungalows had stairs getting up to the doorway. I would call the hotel and ask them directly if they can accommodate your mother. Sorry for the late reply!

I am sorry about the delay in response. I just saw your question. I hope it's not too late but for what it's worth, here are my responses: 1) the entire place is nice; don't remember thinking that one unit was better than the other. I got a place for 4 people and it was huge 2) it's in the middle of nature so yes there are bugs but I don't recall ever seeing one inside the room and definitely not a place with a bug problem! My kids loved watching the leaf cutter ant colony that were heading up the hill ouside of our room but they never came inside.

Hi! We used the hotel's shuttle service and it took 5 minutes (max)to get to Baldi. They charged us, but it wasn't much. We flew into San Jose and it took about 3 hours to get to Kokoro...but it was dark and really rainy...that might have slowed us down a bit. However, my in-laws came in from the airport in Liberia and that took 2 1/2 to 3 hours as well. Good luck...have fun and enjoy the trip!
