We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in July. The entrance to the hotel is unpaved and I was a bit apprehensive about how the hotel would be while driving in. All our fears were laid to rest when we reached my room. The room was spacious and beautiful as expected but the view of the Arenal...

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. We stayed 1 night for a quick trip to the Arenal area. The cottage-style rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. The restaurant was great. Staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this hotel over the pricier options. Wish we could've stayed longer to appreciate it more. The free wifi & free breakfast was...

My husband and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage at Arenal Manoa. It is a beautiful resort with very friendly and helpful staff. We loved seeing the volcano and watching the rain and the birds right off our balcony--such a relaxing place to stay! The food was also delicious! We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful separate rooms, beautiful grounds! Nice staff too and....nice breakfast! Loved the warm springs pool. Loved that there was a coffee maker with good coffee. Very unusual, since all our other hotels had none. Loved the bathroom with a skylight. My only complaint is that for a luxury hotel, there shouldn't be a 1" gap in the sliding French front...

Hotel Arenal Manoa is a beautiful hotel among the many in the Arenal Volcano area. Our visit was brief and rain soaked, so I don't feel we had a full experience but will share some potentially helpful feedback. Rooms are laid out in small buildings, with clean and basic furnishings including a patio with rockers. There is a pool and...

My family stayed at the Arenal Manoa for 3 days the last week of July 2014. Since it was the rainy season, we only saw the volcano a couple of times- once at 5:50AM and once in the afternoon. We did not like the restaurant at the hotel although it was convenient. The staff spoke little English, and it was...

Stayed the Last June 2014, and I was really surprised about the Hotel. The complex is surrounded by the nature and the view of the Volcano Arenal is incredible. The grounds of the Arenal Manoa are filled with lovingly maintained vegetation. If only the visitors, would receive even part of this care and attention. The staff generally seemed indifferent to my need for say water to drink or decent food. On my anniversary, we made a reservation at the restaurant, there were only two diners in the whole place....

The view of the volcano is amazing from any terrace of the hotel. Rooms are set cabin type so there is a lot of space in between rooms, there is a nice terrace with huge windows facing the volcano so you can see it all day long if you want. The rooms are basic but very spacious, super clean and...

Cons: We stayed here for three nights in room 234 which is the farthest from the front desk. After really long excursions each day with hiking and waterfall repelling the last thing I wanted to do was walk through the pitch dark for 20 minutes uphill with vicious Mosquitos to my room! If you ask for a lift from the...
