Stayed here for one night and it was beautiful! The room we had was huge! Beautiful hard wood floors, very old fashion looking! We took the van the restaurant which had stunning ceilings and architecture. My partner had the surf and turf and I pasta, bother were outstanding! Breakfast was just as good with savory and sweet foods. Around the...

We went just for lunch. If the rest of the services are like it...don't take the chance. Yes, location is nice, if you go only for a walk. Other tables were rejecting the plates as we did, the fish and pork were almost raw, and we ask for it twice.

This is the kind of place that has already seen its golden years... The location is great lots of nature really beautiful scenery, you can see lots birds and trees, which is great. I recommend the "Mountain view Suite" because you get that feeling of being somehow isolated, the rooms/suites are clean and well organised although they look dated, as...

This is a great resort! There are pods of cabanas along the walk to the resort pool and on up to the restaurant/bar. Their pool was very warm mid 90's (?) and beautiful. They have a lovely stream coming down from the pool that is quite picturesque. The Wi-Fi was spotty and you needed to be close to the office...

This is a beautiful property, good access and paved roads up to the hotel entrance. There are parking spaces available in case you decide to drive, the property is very extense so be prepared to walk a lot or you can also request the internal transportation from one place to another. Rooms are fine, however these are a little outdated,...

The hotel (aka Rancho Las Perlas) is nicely located in a quiet valley, with beautiful grounds, a huge thermal pool, and pleasant restaurant. Not much hiking on the grounds, but a great place to relax. From what we could tell, it was the most appealing hotel that we saw in the Orosi valley. We were disappointed with the "suite" (wood...

This was not too good experience really I was hoping a better place, the wooden room have problems with hot water, TV and the next room was to close so you hear all the noise and if you are lucky like me and my wife you end up with a group of noise guys having a party until 4 am....

The entrance gate of Rio Perlas has a touch of the grandeur you might expect from a hotel that gives itself 5 stars. But that's where it ends. It may have been a 4 star hotel once (at the most) but now it really is no better than an average 2 1/2 star hotel. Everything is touched by the humidity...

Lovely resort, two swimming pools one is colder water to refresh, another is thermal spring water for healing. Restaurant on site--good food. Have not seen the casino (was being built when I stayed there). Quiet and very affordable.
