Hostel Casa de Lis was the cleanest and nicest Hostel on our 3 month trip! They paid a lot of attention to detail (decoration, service and local information) that most hotels don't do, let alone Hostels!

Casa de lis was conveniently located in Turrialba. It was very easy to walk around and catch buses to explore the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped in booking us in an amazing rafting trip down the pacuare with ticos rivers. There was also tons of information available at the hostel that helped us plan our...

This is an amazing and clean place, Liz has done an excellent job at making this place a home away from home. The area has a few sodas close by where you can have a good and inexpensive bite to eat. The upstairs balcony is to die for.

clean, friendly, central and with an amazing view of the volcano from the roof. the little garden area behind is a great spot for breakfast, and Lis speaks multiple languages. there may not be much choice in Turrialba for hostels, but that doesn't mean they have let a monopoly go to their heads, and have created a really pleasant environment....

It's such a warm and pleasant place to stay. Staffs there are super helpful and very friendly. I stayed in a private double room with a queen size bed, private shower and balcony. The room is clean and tidy just like a 5-star hotel room in a smaller scale. Great value and a very good choice!

Due to my work or leisure trips always step up moving around the country, I must admit that this is the best hostel I've visited throughout Costa Rica. The facilities are modern, always clean with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and safe stay. No doubt there are few times that I feel completely indulged in one place; Casa...

Easy to find, quiet and clean. Enjoyed our stay here. There wasn't much to do here since Volcan Turrialba was closed and that was one of the main reasons we went to Turrialba. Hostel is close to shopping, food, restaurants and easy walk to the bus stop if you don't have a car.

Great kitchen space ( I heard they are planning to expand it) free coffee/tea, tons of helpful travel info posted, very...
