We had a suite with a view of Arenal and an open air shower. The hotel has a great pool, bar and restaurant. The hotel has a hiking path through it's forest that has places marked to see bats and a stream. This was perfect for a couple looking to go hiking and have some quiet time in private away...

We just got home from our trip to Costa Rica and my husband and I absolutely loved our 3 nights at the Lost Iguana. It's such a special place and words can't really do it justice. You feel so remote, like you're really experiencing the best of what the Arenal area has to offer. The grounds are lush attracting all...

I highly recommend. Staff and facilities are great. I drove from airport and they answered all my questions on how best to drive there. Close to La Fortuna but not so close to be caught up in the touristiness of it. It was the highlight of our vacation.

We couldn't have picked a better hotel! The staff, especially Alex at the front desk, were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our luxury suite was spectacular and it was amazing to wake up every morning to a perfect view of the volcano. The beds were very comfortable and the room, bathroom, and balcony very roomy. It felt like we were in...

Our stay at the Lost Iguana was thoroughly satisfying in all aspects: the view, the rooms. the food and especially the staff. They were very helpful and friendly and will be glad to help you with your Spanish, too. We liked the grounds and space surrounding the buildings. We arrived after dark, and were welcomed by birdsong and wonderful jungle...

We had an amazing time at the resort. I would defiantly recommend this to people with family. The grounds were beautiful and the food fantastic. We were here for two nights with our 4 yr old and 6 yr old who couldn't get enough of the pool!

My partner and I arrived at the Lost Iguana on the 18th of April after a 4 day stay at a busy (and noisy) resort in Playa Hemosa. What an absolutely amazing resort! The staff greeted us and promptly checked us in, informed us of the facilities and the opening times, and assigned us our rooms. We had booked a...

This resort was fantastic!!!! The buildings (we only saw three rooms per building) are built into the forest so you can hardly notice the others. The rooms and balconies are very private. And the views of the volcano were breathtaking. Our room had a king bed with a canopy and small bar area, perfect for two people. And the hot...

We just returned from a four night stay at the lost iguana resort. What a fantastic place. We stayed in a celebrity villa as a family of five. It was spacious with a view to die for and good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The grounds and surrounding area were beautiful....
