Rancho Ricco is a "magnifico lugar". The ranch has a unique healing quality. The 2 days spent there gave me more than an expansive spa would have. I felt so regenerated and at peace when I left. The view is amazing, the food is simple and organic. Most of the products are locally grown. Beaches are near by if someone...

I stayed there for two weeks in December 2015, My first visit to Costa Rica. The open air rooms let in the sounds of the Howler monkeys, native birds, horse whinneys and cattle moos echoing over the hills and through the valleys. Flowers abound as Miguel, the gardener, has plied his skills there for some 40 years. The aromas wafted through...

We had a wonderful few days at Rancho Ricco. The ranch is located on an a mountain, a very peaceful place ideally situated for a special getaway. When looking at the horizon there is seemingly no distinction between the luscious green mountains and the endless sky. We loved waking up to the beautiful sounds of birds in the morning. Our...

Just back from a wonderful weekend at Rancho Ricco. Cia hosted my boyfriend and I for a lovely and very enlightening private couples retreat. I would highly recommend both Cia and Rancho Ricco to those seeking a peaceful place to turn within and heal or reconnect with yourself and/or your loved ones. What a joyous and spiritual retreat! Each morning greeted by the hummingbirds as I watched the sun come over the mountains, sipping on my fresh cup of coffee. The quiet mornings were serene and revived my soul. Loved it!

Rancho Ricco is high up in the mountains on Nicoya Peninsula near Carmona a bustling small town with most amenities. I enjoyed the ranch itself, with comfortable accommodations and relaxing environment. Great to sit out under the "Rancho" and feel the breeze of fresh air. Enjoyed horseback riding through the property with vistas of the Gulf of Nicoya and nearby...

Common areas, including a spacious and inviting kitchen, welcome shared time and meals. Dining and conversation became timeless on the large covered deck, and the beautiful flowers and landscaping give way...

We really enjoyed our stay! Cia made us feel so welcome and the room was great, with a three speed fan which was plenty since it was cooler on the hillside there. It was our most comfortable stay in Costa RIca. Cia arranged a guided horse back ride for our group that was wonderful! Great views and delightful trails for...

I had the pleasure of staying at Rancho Rico for a month last summer. Cia Ricco is a gracious host who made me feel like I was at home. My fondest memories are of all the sunrises spent sitting under the rancho drinking tasty Costa Rican coffee and indulging in my daily young coconut. I would wake to the deep...

Cia, the owner of the ranch, had us over to stay for 4 nights, and we had a lovely time. "Us" was my girlfriend and mother in law, two gorgeous Dutch women and me, the American boyfriend-in-tow. During our stay, we went to a coffee farm, took in the sugar cane plantation, walked the property and made sure to grab...
