We've been back from Playa Grande just over 2 weeks now and we still can't stop talking about The RipJack, going over our pictures and planning our return trip with ear-to-ear grins! Annie and Dave Corredor (owners/managers) and stupendous staff are a home-away-from-home when you want the luxury of a relaxing holiday mixed with the challenge and inspiration of new...

We didn't stay at the Rip Jack Inn, but we might as well have stayed there because we ate basically every meal there. It was only a short drive away from the house we rented on Playa Grande... and we were glad we found it because not many other places in the area satisfied us nearly as much. The wait...

If you are traveling as a couple and are in to the surf/yoga thing, this is the spot. For a surf trip with a bunch of guys, I'd recommend the Playa Grande Inn, which is a couple spots down the road. We only stayed here one night, but every day in Playa Grande we found ourselves upstairs at the RipJack...

Though neither of us surf, we found the RipJackInn and Playa Grande to be just our flavor. The owners--American expats living the dream in CR--have created a funky, inviting spot to entertain American foodies, surfers, yogis, and adventurers in Playa Grande. We spent our first night here after arriving at Liberia Airport; we were stunned by the beautiful beach, funky...

The inn has a full staff in the kitchen and superb service. The staff will greet you with a warm welcome and are friendly from start to end. The food is top notch. They have a menu that ranges from costa rican dishes and special dishes (i.e.'mango mahi'). The prices are about $8-20. In sum, the food is fresh, amazingly...

So we just got back from Costa Rica for our honeymoon and the Ripjack Inn was our second hotel. We had booked the hotel after reviewing it on Tripadvisor and decided it would be a great place to unwind and relax. Now, we knew we were going in October, the rainy season, and that the restaurant would be closed but...

My bf and i stayed here a few years ago and had a wonderful time. we loved the restaurant upstairs with their delicious fresh fruit and smoothies. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and we loved the pathways through the lush grounds. We took the advice of other reviewers and chose a suite that was not under the kitchen...

Just got back from a short week's stay at the Rip Jack Inn at Playa Grande. Seriously felt like a home away from home. You cannot beat the location—a very short walk (like 30 seconds) and you are on the sand and surfing in 80+ degree water. The food... oh my, the food! Super fresh, healthy and well thought out...

This was our first time visiting Costa Rica, and I cannot think of a better place to have spent our trip!! We traveled there with a wedding party, and they did a great job accommodating us and the entire wedding!! The wedding was planned perfectly, and the reception was at the hotel restaurant/bar - amazing!! I was able to fit...

Tripadvisor can be "blamed" for our choosing Rip Jack Inn. Our first choice was a hotel in Tamarindo that we have been to a number of times. Obviously it has gone down hill in the last few years according to your contributors. . So we made a reservation at this hotel. Our first visit to Playa Grande. Let me tell...
