The location was on a quiet beach. The hotel was very pleasant. Our room was on the ground floor. The room is situated so that there was a direct view into the room. Therefore we kept our curtains drawn most of the time. Therefore if I retuned I might ask for a second floor room. Service was very good. Our room was well appointed.

Great option to unwind with family in a stunning, quiet location on the beach. Great food! It’s a smaller area with not a huge town or night life which was fine for us for one or two nights. Nice beach to stroll along to other hotels and condos.

This hotel ticked almost all the boxes. My only complaint was the size of the pool. For those who don’t want to swim in the sea, the pool is small and designed more for children than for adults who want to go swimming. But other than that, the hotel is ideal. It’s situated on a long sandy beach with a calm sea and beautiful view. Beach loungers and towels are provided for guests. Our junior suite was really nice. Both the bedroom and the living room were very spacious and comfortable. Each had its own TV and there were plenty of plugs around for mobile working wherever we wanted to sit. The ground floor restaurant and upstairs bar (with pool table) are located to make the most of the view. Happy hour (2 for 1) is from 5-7pm and there is a good choice of wines and cocktails. The restaurant/bar menu has a wide choice of dishes and the food is good (not haute cuisine, but very fresh and nicely cooked). The chef is happy to accommodate (reasonable) special requests. The breakfast – ordered from the menu as there is no buffet - is varied, copious and very tasty. The hotel is quite far out, so you need a car to go anywhere. However, the local minimart is within walking distance if you’ve forgotten your flip-flops or sunglasses, or just want a bottle of wine to drink in the room. A plus for the kids is the wildlife. What can be more exciting than sitting in the pool and watching the monkeys or exotic birds in the surrounding trees? A great place to stay. …

We spent a wonderful seven nights at this hotel following a two week tour of Costa Rica and loved the relaxed atmosphere and closeness to the beach. We were very late arriving at the hotel, due to a serious accident en-route, but the staff kept the restaurant open until we arrived to enable us to have dinner. On arrival we were upgraded to a Garden Suite, which was a great surprise. It was lovely, while on the sunbeds on the beach, to watch the birds and other wildlife. The staff were all wonderful, but special thanks to Carlos Gatto in particular, also Diego and Yorsi Quesada. The breakfast girls (Shirley and Andrea) were also excellent and looked after us very well. We both had massages booked through the hotel and they were very good.

We spent 8 amazing nights here. This hotel is WONDERFUL! The courtyard is sooo pretty and the trees are busy with monkeys and iguanas! It’s just seconds to the big beautiful beach with safe swimming. The hotel is actually right on the beach so you don’t even need your shoes to go from your room to the beach. The hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. The tours they arrange are awesome!! We took two of the hotel arranged tours. For our boat tour, we chose to get a less expensive option from the beach guys and they gave us an absolutely amazing day as well. We felt safe here the entire time and loved it so much. There’s a supermarket a 15 minute walk away as well. My only complaint would be the restaurant didn’t have much for vegan options and the food was overpriced with small portions. But the prices were the same as the surrounding hotels and resta so I guess it was fair. Another small thing is sometimes it’s hard to get beach chairs. We will definitely recommend this to others and hopefully return one day.…

Exceeded expectations at all levels! A favorite relaxing spot after a day of scuba diving was the jacuzzi on our private deck with view of ocean through the forest. Top of the line service from friendly, customer-focused staff. Especially appreciative of services from Caner, Christian and Roy at the front desk AND Diego and Shirley at breakfast. Room was beautiful. Grounds were impeccable.

I can not say enough about this resort. The staff was warm and welcoming. Every request we made was attended to and addressed. From the front desk to the upstairs bar to the restaurant staff, everything was amazing. The walks along the beach for my friend's birthday getaway sealed the deal. We had to book our first night separately due to availability, and the staff handled the move so we did not have a care in the world. I highly recommend this property. The name and the photos are point on...you are truly embedded in a beachfront forest. I had so much fun watching my friend try to find her way to the room the first couple days. The property is well maintained, and we had no issues at all.

My wife and I just stayed here late July. The hotel was amazing. All the rooms are hidden perfectly in the midst of the jungle. The view from our room looked out into the canopy of the trees. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very polite and attenitive. The food was very good as well. There were a group of Howler monkeys that came through and were at one point climbing in the trees above the pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderfull small hotel with modern spacious rooms, location at the beach and great staff. We had a garden room, which was very nice with charming surroundings. Restaurant was OK, but there is also some restaurant options 400-500 meters down the beach.
