Rico Adventure Lodge is a good stay with very friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. It's located at the street, therefore our room was quite noisy. But the value for money was ok, we can recommend it.

Tico Adventure Lodge affords a balance for travel in Samara. Located on the western edge of Samara, one is close enough to walk to the beach (5-10 minutes) or wander the town, yet is far enough away from the action to provide a tranquil setting for napping, reading, or reflecting. Should you wish to save a little money and cook...

We stayed in one of the rooms.(I think 4... it is upstairs and off the main road) I wish we would have upgraded to a suite or apartment. The room was CHEAP, but small. it had a nice deck though with some cool iguanas hanging out. The bed was not too comfy though. And ants, ants, ants... DO NOT EAT...

My husband and I stayed for five nights. Great location, only a few blocks to the beach. No parking, but the car was safe on the street out front. The WiFi did not work in our room, but worked on our balcony, was just pretty slow. Great pool! Awesome three legged dog who loves to walk with guests to the...

Our family of 9 visited Costa Rica for nearly 2 weeks and the last six days stayed at the Tico Lodge. It was a wonderful place to stay, a great town on the Pacific, and hospitality beyond compare. The accommodations are excellent since most of the time was spent by the pool or at the beach. My wife enjoyed a...

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and both the town and the lodge were recommended to us by friends who had previously traveled there. We stayed in two different rooms on the property and loved both of them. While not a fancy 5 star resort in the classic sense of the term, the experience we had in both...

We decided to leave the cloud forest a day early and was looking for a place for our family of four at the last minute. This place was recommended by another hotel owner who did not have rooms when we were looking. We stayed in the Treetop apartment, which was GREAT. There is a huge deck with comfortable chairs and...

We stayed here twice. Once in 2008 and again in 2015. The rooms have been updated and there is a terrific communal kitchen area, jacuzzi tub, and massage room now. The pool is lovely and very clean. I'm especially impressed by the beds, which are firm and comfortable, and the cleanliness of the linens and bathroom. We stayed in the...
