After a great, but exhausting trip through Costa Rica, me, my sister and a friend were in for some relaxation at Samara. We went searching for a hotel for a reasonable price and ended up at the Tico Adventure Lodge. The staff and in particular the manager Chris, were always there for us when we needed anything. Needless to say...

I'm a grad student staying in Costa Rica for three months, so I'm on a tight budget when it comes to travelling the region. Several of my friends recommended the Tico Adventure Lodge when I mentioned that I wanted to spend a few days in Samara. I loved the place--the rooms are clean and simple (I sprang for the AC...

We actually stayed here a while back and I was looking into going again and realized I never gave a review. This place is great, very close to town, very safe and friendly staff, it has everything you could possibly need. It feels as if you are in the jungle with all the plants. Very lush, got to see monkeys,...

No doubt the best place for the price!! The rooms were clean cool and comfortable. The staff was more than helpful and made us feel right at home. Just a couple minutes to the beach and close to shops and restaurants.

I cannot see why this place would be rated weii. It was cheap ,$55 for two. the neighbor was making noise all night. Road noise no ac, ants all over, no parking on the grounds, these are my reasos for a bad review.

I really enjoyed staying here - it totally felt like home. I stayed in the studio apartment with a kitchen, which was perfect for a solo traveler wanting to save some money by cooking at home. The place is funky, definitely not a fancy hotel, which is why it's perfect for Samara. The neighborhood is very quiet except for a...

We arrived at Tico Adventure Lodge without pre-booking and the team were extremely welcoming and showed us to our room. This is a very chilled out place to stay and is extremely reasonable. It is a 2 min walk to the beach and is central to all the places you may want to visit in Samara. It was amazing to...

My stay here at ticos adventure lodge was great. It was cheap and exactly what I needed. The couple running the lodge were very nice and their dog , a 3 legged lab, was a great companion. This place is definitely recommended.

Hotel is located off main drag but within 5 minute walk of beach, so no noise from drunk beach revelers but plenty of convenience and access to sand and water. Hotel grounds are not luxurious by any stretch, with a pool that is never used and odd furniture and items often strewn about. Hotel staff was helpful enough but not...

Hi Tyler, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate all reviews and we are taking your comments into consideration. At the end of the November, things can still be very rainy, thus our pool furniture could have been turned over therefore not on proper display. We offer the communal kitchen and complementary coffee as a...
