We stayed in one of the large adjoining houses (Casa Ganesha) which gave us access to the pool and restaurant. We were simply allowed to run a tab for our two week stay. The pool was slightly warmer than the 80 degree ocean, and was yet a refreshing experience from the 90+ heat. The restaurant is very, very laid back....

A great place to stay that is off the beaten track and close to several excellent beaches for surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing, and beach walking. We stayed two nights in the suite bungalow which was very accommodating for our needs. Ants in previous posts: My suggestion is don't keep food inside or leave stuff in the waste baskets (it...

We LOVED this place! Stayed for four days at the end of our two week long trip in Costa Rica. It's so mellow. The huts are cool. The vibe is chill. Everyone sits on the beach each evening to enjoy the sunset. The food it great! The drinks are great! The service is awesome! Put in quite a bit of...

We enjoyed ourselves, but this turned out to be our least favorite lodging out of 4 places that we stayed during our two week trip. The beach is really nice. It is rocky in front of the hotel, but you can walk a good stretch of it which was really enjoyable. We stayed in a newer hut with A/C. For...

We just returned to New York after staying for a week in a house on the hotel property. The location is beautiful, all of the staff friendly and helpful, and the weather was perfect. I recommend a rental car to explore the surrounding area as the hotel is somewhat isolated. I would love to return next year. Beautiful sunsets...a very...

Loved this Hotel and was sorry to leave. Staff great, casitas private and peaceful, deserted beach for long walks, clean pool and loved being able to be shoeless to enjoy the naturalness of this Hotel. Don't expect fluffy bath robes and chocolates on the pillow - It is far better with it's natural Costa Rica charm. A very special place.

Great place for surfing and quiet/relaxing time. Nothing nearby (good and bad) but the bungalows are perfect for families and the restaurant/bar provided great food. Definitely need a 4x4 during rainy season. My kids enjoyed it more than the resort we went to in Tamarindo which says something! Surfing lessons from Manu were also fantastic

Pros: Beautiful place, cute individual huts. Stayed in Mid-November and luckily had some amazing weather. Beach is beautiful, is fairly rocky right in front of the resort although has sandy regions just a little walk down. Employees speak English which is very helpful!! Cons: Off Season is a great time to go to Costa Rica although the only downside is...

My husband grew up surfing and wanted to go to a great surf spot to stay. This place was charming. The birds would sing in the morning We stayed in the higher end style of villas. which had air conditioning and hot showers (this is Costa Rica). The two units shared a kitchen. We had hammocks and an outdoor shower...

A great place to stay by the ocean and relax or surf. Accessible by car. The huts were beautiful and clean. The bar is a great place to eat. There's a pool for kids and it's on the beach. It's quite remote but we ended up staying a whole week even though we had planned on staying only 3 days....
