This was our first stop on our tour of Costa Rica. The room was more than I could have even asked for. Beautiful canopy king size bed fire place rocking bench mini fridge and a bathroom made for a king!! 2 showers and a Jacuzzi tub! Also a Jacuzzi out side on the giant balcony! The hikes were very casual...

Casual Elegance at every turn. The rooms are incredible! You'll find a waterfall in your shower. Two soaking tubs, one was out on our balcony overlooking the green hills, yet totally private. Brilliant! Romantic, yet full of adventures. The couples massage was the perfect way to relax. But there is lots of family fun there too. The staff couldn't have...

We loved this hotel so much! The location, the quality, the service - all top notch. Location - the hotel is quite isolated. It is about 45 minutes north from SJO, and is built into the hillside above la Paz waterfalls gardens park. To get anywhere you have to drive at least 15 minutes, and these are not roads you...

The Peace Lodge brings an additional meaning to the word, lodge. Upon entering our room I felt as if I was embarking on a 5-star excursion in the rainforest. (See my review of the La Paz Waterfall Garden Park.) Private outdoor/indoor Jacuzzis, rainfall showers (two in our room), fireplace, minibar, were just some of the amenities in our room. Each...

Used a groupon - excellent value on the rooms, expecially since the price includes park entry. Got touch/hold toucans, humming birds, tree frogs, and a snake! Everyone is very helpful and it is very easy to spend two full days wandering around enjoying the sights & animals and relaxing in the hot tub (which has a waterfall!). Food is expensive...

The rooms, view, walking trails, and food are all amazing. We stayed in the deluxe guest room and wow, the bathroom was a sight to behold. They brought the waterfalls and jungle to you! The animals and hummingbird experience were amazing. I wouldn't stay more than 3 days as you would run out of activities, but this resort is one...

Dave and I traveled from San Diego to San Jose CR for the first time and began our stay here. When traveling, we were stopped because of road work less than a mile from the Peace Lodge. We weren't sure what to do and we got out of the car. Two employees of the lodge were behind us, greeted us...

This is not only a Luxury location but also, a complete nature experience. You will see frogs, big cats, waterfalls and a lot other great experiences, get relax and enjoy chill time. The food is not bad, some of the restaurants are a bit of expensive to have dinner and so gourmet for my appetizer but ok at the end...

My family and I visited The Peace Lodge during the last week of Oct. It was a memorable experience especially for my ill father in law. The Peace Lodge Staff was very accommodating, doing little things like ordering items that were not even on the menu ALL the way to shuttling us around in the property golf cart. Daniel in...
