We were really excited to get to Jenny's cabin after a 4 hour bus journey from San Jose and after reading all of these reviews and the roughs guide we were expecting big things. We stayed in the room downstairs which was perfectly adequate, reasonable price ($35) fan, shutters, lock on door and comfy bed. Location wise spot on and... More

This was our favourite place in two weeks of travel in Costa Rica. It was right on the water with a fridge, coffee maker, water cooler, two beds, our own balcony with hammock and lounge chairs. We even had sloths in the trees outside one day. As dog lovers we also liked the friendly and well-behaved dogs on the property.... More

After touring Costa Rica with my fiancé we finally ended up in Cahuita. There are only a couple hotels that are directly on my the water, and Jenny's Cabinas is, in my opinion, the best choice. Although you can't swim directly in front of the hotel, playa de negro is just a short walk away. The proprietor was very friendly... More

Our upstairs cabin was beautifully presented with everything you need and more: small kitchen, good bathroom, mosquito net, storage and to top it all off the balcony with a hammock and chairs just feet from the ocean. Its such a nice space to relax in. Jenny was welcoming and helpful and we had no problems with her dogs. The waves... More

with the Ocean breaking at 30 feet of your room, you don't need it! accomodations are basic, however the rooms have little details to make them comfortable and cozy, the in-room coffee maker and little fridge were really welcomed . Conviently located a short walk form beaches and downtown is a nice resting place. The building is old and staring... More

I stayed here for four nights before a yoga teacher training. I wanted a private space to myself, away from any hustle or bustle, with enough room to roll out my mat. I also didn't want to have to eat out every meal. Jenny's provided all this to me. The room was as close to the sea as possible, the... More

Jenny is very helpful w any questions you have. The ocean is literally 30 feet from the building. Walk 2-3 blocks to nice beaches. Awesome food. Great people everywhere. Safe. Affordable. We would come back. Jenny recommended chef Walters's food at La Fe Bumbata restaurant- also amazing, best shrimp.

Stayed for 2 nights in a room upstairs and it was one of the best (or maybe the best) accommodation we stayed at during our vacation in Costa Rica. Room was clean, cozy, equipped with stylish furniture and had a spacious balcony viewing ocean (which is ~15m from the house) with rocking chairs and a hammock - enjoyed reading in... More

We really enjoy staying at Jenny's. Stayed there in October last year and couldn't wait to return. There is something very special about Cahuita, it offers everything one might need, the Caribbean vibe, and a very chill tranquilo atmosphere of a village. Jenny's is situated at the end of the main road into town on the left, directly on the... More
