There is a nice stream to walk to from the lodge, it isn't really a swimming environment. There are areas that are deeper than others. It's a nice hike, but we really didn't experience any areas for swimming, even near the waterfalls.

You can charge your devices in the dining room. There are no outlets in the guest cottages. There should be enough outlets in the dining room for you to charge at least one of your devices every day. We had 12 of us traveling together and all of us had phones and cameras to charge. We were able to do that without any problems.
