Spent a couple of nights there. Daniel is a great host and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, comfortable and relatively clean. The breakfasts are great and the grounds wonderful, birds, butterflies and sloths abound. Relaxing and comfortable. A bit far from C

Loved this place, we stayed here for 5 nights after driving from San Jose. It was the perfect beginning to our trip. The wildlife, all of the staff and the owner were very welcoming and really made us feel at home my 5 year daughter has named her two toy Sloths Daniel (the owner

Superior Suite- comfy chairs on porch too!
How do I book? Doesn’t seem to be any way to book through their site or here through Trip Advisor.
I'd call the hotel -- 506-2755-0349. They speak English, Spanish, and German .

Hello all we are due to stay at Suizo Loco in February but are worried about how to travel from theree to Arenal which will be our next destination. Can we fix this up once we get there at short notice or should we try to arrange it before we leave the UK ? I have emailed Suizo to ask but they have not answered Thank you!
We had a rental car during our stay. If you do rent a car, be sure to also rent navigation system as many roads in Costa Rica are not marked. It's a long drive, so leave early in the morning.

What are the best rooms to stay in, can anyone recommend transfers from airport, to sloth sanctuary, national park, jaguar rescue centre?
Hi I would like to stay ay this hotel but I cant find a travel agent that do the flight, hotel and transfers combined, could u tell me if you used an travel agent please ? thanks
sorry, I did not use a travel agent. Just me and my computer. Use a travel agent to book your flight into San Juan. I used one of the tourist bus lines to get to the east coast - they will pick you up from your San Juan hotel or maybe even from the airport, depending when your flight gets in. Management at the Lodge are great to work with. Email them for info on the bus transfers and to book your room, of course. Its a nice place to stay.
