I spent one night at Park Hotel in early January 2016. The hotel is fine, but be careful with the restaurant. One beer costs $3.50 (when in most places you get a beer for about $3), but the problem is that I requested my two beers to be "micheladas" (which simply means that they add a little bit of lime...

Nice hotel in the center of Puerto Limon. Clean rooms with air conditioning. Located right next to the sea. Nice breakfast. Guarded parking close by. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay when traveling to Tortuguero since it is only about 15 minutes away from the boat dock.

My husband and I visited the restaurant in this hotel for lunch. We were greeted very friendly and given a choice of tables. We had a fruit punch and a pineapple juice drinks. The waiter was very helpful with suggestions. We had the fish of the day, red snapper, cooked in a sauce with tomatoes and onions. We ordered sides...

I waited until the last minute to book a place on a holiday weekend in the Limon area. I wanted to stay in the area influenced by Jamaicans near a beach! Everywhere I could find online was booked out! So I stayed in Peurto Limon and had a blast. The hotel is right next to a lovely park and the...

Sleep to the sound of waves against the beach rocks. This location is close to restaurants and shopping. What a way to watch the sunrise on the small patio. The rooms are compact but adequate. Pack light, there is no elevator.

The room was OK, but the noise in the street until 4 in the morning wouldn't let me sleep. They even gave me another room & unless you kept the air conditioner on the noise was still there! Then the safe wouldn't open 2 different times & I had to wait for them to come with their key. The food was...

I booked through Booking.com in July for a conference taking place November 5-9, 2014. On the Sunday before my departure I received an email asking me to submit my credit card information again. Fearing there was something wrong with the card, I called Booking.com and they took the information again, sent a confirmation number and a guarentee that the room...

Limón is not a town to go for vacation. Business is the only reason. Althoug the Province is very nice for vacationing or plain touristing, downtown is not. But if you have to go, the Park Hotel is the place to stay. Restaurant is good, but not excellent: you can eat decently. Rooms are good size and spotless, they even...

PROs: Everything was like in the description and on the photos. Rooms are simple, not too big, but okay and clean. The best option in town. Staff was helpful and nice. CONs: There was only warm, not hot water. The town is very industrial and not really nice for a visit, but a good night spend on the way to...

The town of Puerto Limon is not what you would call a place in paradise. In fact, I would tell anyone to check outside Puerto Limon unless you just have to be at this cruise port. The hotel itself is nice. You have to drive through "downtown" to get to it. This is where you will shutter a bit. But...
