I stayed two nights there in a private tent (8$ per night) and really enjoyed it. The place may not be the most luxuries one and the staff not the most friendliest one, but the hostel is full of chilled atmosphere and offers all you need, like showers, toilets, WiFi, travel agent, bike rental etc. I highly recommend it for...

I spent 3 days, 2 nights here with my boyfriend, we loved it, though we had some trouble on first instance, we reserved a normal bedroom, we paid up front, we were happy because as soon as we got there we saw plenty of people, so we thought we were saved, BUT tararannn, We went to the front desk, asking...

My husband and I arrived two days after new years on sat night. We found it a bit loud and full on (even on the other nights too) as we are a bit more mellow and although social we prefer a good dinner party over a "rager" every night of the week. Security is good as there is really no...

I stayed in the Kings suit at Rocking J's but had a terrible experience. The room was full of mosquitoes and the staff didnt seem to be bothered - I am still suffering from the crazy mosquito bites!!! The staff was also not very well informed about the good restaurants in the town, gave inaccurate information. The room is a...

This hostel has everything to be great: it's huge, it's located in front of the beach, is relatively close to town, has lots of people all the time, among other good things. However, the place has some things that you should consider if you're planning on staying there: the staff is not very nice, in fact, unlike other hostels where...

hands down the coolest hostel i've ever stayed in. We brought our own hammocks (which, having been purchased off the street in nicaragua, were not comfortable) so make sure to book ahead of time so you can get one of J's hammocks. this place was the bomb-- cool people from all walks of life, a little loud understandably and have...

I really liked this place because it was so different than any other hostel I stayed in during my travels of Central America. I rented a tent for a couple nights, which I thought was awesome. The tent is already set up for you and had a mattress on the ground. So it takes all the crummy things about camping...

The hostel is really huge and you get to meet so many different people. I rented a hammock which was really comfortable, I stayed for about two weeks. It's really close to playa cocles beach and you can rent bikes to ride around the Caribbean. The food is really good but I think it's wiser to buy groceries , there's...

As a young couple, we had a great time here and met lots of people! If you want a memorable, cool experience stay here! it was unlike any other hostel I've ever been to. We did have a private room with bed bugs though but the staff was super diligent about moving us to another room and we saw them...

We got recommended to stay here as this hostel was so unique which to be fair was! The hostel was amazing inside and had numerous options on where to stay and was right on the beach. You could see all the hard work that was put into the place and had a great atmosphere for backpackers which I couldn't fault....
