You get what you pay for relative to the cabins amenities but the location cannot be beat, the staff was very friendly and very helpful and it was central to many of the things that we wanted to do to include the Jaguar rescue center which cannot be missed. It is positioned between two little supermarkets that has all of... More

We've explored Costa Rica, Nicaragua & Panama - 11 trips, some a month long. This place, these people, that incredible Caribbean surf breaking on the shaded, white sand beach, it all feels like a big hug from John Lennon! Ben, our Host at Cabinas Yemanya was the perfect host - sincere, helpful, right there without hovering - the kind of... More

Nice houses for a good price. Very kind people and a relaxed atmosphere. The houses are just outside the city centre. This means that you are in the forest and the animals are close! Don't think you can get closer to nature...

I had a fantastic stay at Cabinas Yemanya. The cabins are surrounded by jungle, allowing wildlife such as capiabaras, sloths and toucans to visit very close to the cabins. The fact that the cabins are made of wood really gives the place a natural feel as well. It's a very short walk to the quiet, gorgeous beach with cristal clear... More

This is by far the best option for families traveling on a budget. The cabinas are simple but well equipped with a kitchen, warm showers and a private bathroom. The hosts are a very friendly and very helpful couple who genuinely want you to have a relaxing, great experience. But even better, the nicest beach you will find near Puerto... More

I stayed here last year a couple of nights and i can say this was a great option. The place has it all, a great location between the town and the cabins, you can easily bike travel, a relaxing atmosphere, also the beach is just a few meters away, and the bungalows are fully equipped, if you`re going to puerto... It's definately my favourite place to stay whenever I'm in Puerto Viejo. The best thing is that it's just right next to the beach: crossing the jungle and you can have a nice swim every morning! The beach is the nicest one that you can find near to Puerto Viejo and in the morning you have it for yourself. The... More

I really like this place, this place is for people who likes to relax and enjoy the music of nature. Bungalows have everything you need to stay a few days or a while. Also the beach is just 50 mts from cabins. Highly recommend. We saw a baby sloth in front of our cabin here in Cabinas Yemanya, check it... More
