Emergency response UNACCEPTABLE! Samasati has a gorgeous, remote location. If all goes well, it's a beautiful thing. However, all did not go well on our trip. The first night, one of our retreat participants fell down the steps in her room and luckily came away with just a very large & painful bruise. I don't believe anyone ever reported this...

Dear Patti L, We are truly sorry that your group's experience was marred by this incident. When someone has accident it can be scary and compounding that with being in the jungle at night does amplify the stress. Please know that since the fall, we have taken steps to improve safety protocol and safety in the casitas. The manager resides...

This is a wonderful retreat in deep in the rainforest, with a view of the Caribbean. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the food is great and the buildings are beautiful. You will fall asleep listening to exotic birds singing, wake up to the sound of howler monkeys and watch hummimgbirds and tucans as you eat your lunch. Stephanie, the...

Following an 8 day trip across Costa Rica I wanted a few days of chill time with vegetarian food on the Caribbean coast. A bit of googling let me to the samasati website and I was sold. The whole booking process went extremely well and suggestions were made for transportation and airport accommodation. When the interbus dropped me off I...

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and enjoyed the beautiful views and sounds of nature. I highly recommend Samasati.
