Pulling in to the Totem after an 8 hour drive from La Fortuna I was in tears. We are used to bigger all inclusive places as you can see by my past reviews. However it did not take long to fall in love with this little piece of heaven. It has a very homey feel with the domestic cats and...

The rooms are clean, the 'jungle' experience was true, the pool was clean, the grounds are kept clean, and the security is excellent! What made this hotel the best experience of all the places we stayed in Costa Rica was the staff, in particular, Melvin in the dining room, and Gabriel at the front desk. They were informative, helpful and...

Our group of 6 women booked 3 double bed rooms in May 2012 for our trip in March 2013. On checking in we found one suite with two queen size beds, 2 bungalows with king size beds and child cots squeezed in at the foot of the beds. The manager told us the resort had only 1 suite with double beds...

Nice acomadations our room did not lock all you had to do I'd lift up door to unlock. Staff not helpful in planning or knowledge of activities in the area, simply handed you a book and the phone and you were on your own. Kids enjoyed pool. Food average but very expensive and beach across street was dangerous to swim...

The deluxe bungalow was nice, surroundings beautiful and we especially appreciated the pool as our little one was afraid of the big caribbean waves. We also appreciated pina coladas and mojitos served at the pool bar :). Feels also totally safe- guards at the entrance checking cars entering. Breakfast varied daily and both costa rican and tourist options were offered.

We booked this hotel for just one night because the one we wanted was overbooked. This one did not disappoint us either. The rooms are very very nice and quite spacious, we especially loved the bamboo bed and the fact that there is a safe in the room. The towel art was a nice touch. The bathroom is, although not...

The resort was a great getaway for the weekend. Nice location and felt like being in the jungle. Staff was fabulous and we enjoyed the pool, the restaurant, the spa, and sitting area of the lobby for after dinner drinks. The morning grounds were filled with howler monkeys which were lots of fun to watch. Traveling with my husband, Mom...
