This place is amazing, clean, the staff is friendly, and you can get massages on site. Great location to everything in PV. Far enough from the noisy strip. They help you out with booking classes or anything else and are just so wonderful.

They have very friendly staff and an awesome location just a few blocks away from the hottest bars and restaurants. The pool is great and well maintained. Just to consider: the Heliconia Rooms are a bit noisy since they are facing the street.

Super cleanand place, beautiful pool, excelent service. Near to the beach, safe place. You can pay with credit cards, offers WIFI and breakfast Natural place, I found some blue crabs, frogs, birds and the gardens are just the best, the hotel is really quiet.

We travel often to Puerto Viejo as we plan to move to the area in a couple of years. This year we decided to try a place closer to all the action, and Casa Verde was located within walking distance of all the nightlife. The clerk was very unfriendly when we checked in, but our room was clean and comfortable,... More

One of the best places to stay in Puerto Viejo. The rooms are basic cabin style rooms with plain beds. The grounds are beautiful! If you are looking for a mega resort with luxury, Puerto Viejo is not for you. It is a beautiful place that one must appreciate. Do some research to make sure you have the accommodations that... We stayed over new year so our room was nearly $100 a night - for what we got this was massively over priced but perhaps we just came at the wrong time! Rooms are clean but basic. No hot water and wifi only in communal areas. The grounds are lovely with lots of wildlife and there is a pool which... More

The hotel itself is lovely and very clean and comfortable. However, we didn't get a smile from any of the staff especially the girl who checked us in. She informed us that a room would be 40 dollars a night, to pay when we leave. Upon check out, we had a different girl and I was about to pay on... More

I stayed there great property with pool and great gardens. Offer a full day coffee station with some fruits. The only issue is Internet on the area fails a lot, but the rest is great. The lady at the front desk were very attentive and open to inform about activities. I love the wall and garden decorations made by the... More

Nice, clean room. The pool area was beautiful. Very friendly check-in staff. Tips: Spend the extra $10 for air conditioning. We did and were happy to do so (in August). Pay cash for a discount (10% I think).

My boyfriend and I came to Puerto Viejo with no place to stay, so we found Casa Verde from the description in the Lonely Planet book we had. The front has a great DIY, Caribbean vibe to it and the rest of the grounds are beautiful. Very large, nice pool and "hot tub" (not actually warmer than the pool though... More

“All rooms are within the quiet of the compound. I doubt there is a bad room. A few rooms have to share a bath/shower for those on a tighter budget. Our room was in a row of about 4, and all had their own little patio entrance with a hammock.”
