My group so looked forward to this vacation. One couple was having their honeymoon, the other was my 20 year anniversary. We planned travel across Costa Rica from Corcovado to the Caribbean Coast ending up at The Tree House. The Beach Suite makes sense for a group of 4 or more. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 full and one half...

Fortunately due to a cancellation we found a place to stay for 3 nights, Dec 29/2012 to Jan 1/2013. Exited as the web looks amazing but the reality was about to show. Up on arrival, it was explained how fantastic the place was, the importance of their green and ecological way of running the lodge. Great. We got the garden...

dear customer: I am very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with us, however give me a change to set some things right. first of all, you are visiting the tree house lodge over new years time. Let me tell you this, that over Eastern and New year this area is so crowded that it's impossible not to experience any...

This is a complicated review because there is so much positive about this imaginative, creative, and beautiful lodge. (We stayed in the Beach Suite which was not exactly on the beach but a short walk through the forest/gardes away.) I truly understand why others gave this eco-resort a 4 or 5 rating. My rating of 3 does not tell the...

We stayed in the tree house July '12- It was a vacation we will not forget! The tree house was amazing- the wood and designs were very clever! The vacation removed us all from our usually electronic devices- although we did have internet. We would ride our bikes to the beach or to one of the many amazing restaurants in...

The Tree House Lodge is beautiful, and the perfect jungle experience. The only reason we are giving 4 stars rather than 5 is because 1. we got the Garden House because it was the cheapest option, and it is just far less nice than the other houses. It is just much more cabin-y, and I had house envy our entire...

We chose to spend part of our honeymoon at the Tree House Lodge. The Beach House was perfect for us. As you walk in on the first floor, you'll see a double bed with a mosquito net, a well-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, a blender (you're welcomed to pick the fruits from their trees to make your very own fresh...

Truly enjoyed our experience at the Tree House Lodge in July, where we stayed 6 nights for our 20-year anniversary. Lovely accommodations in a gorgeous, natural setting...we felt as much a part of the jungle as we could get while still being completely taken care of! Martin was just wonderful, incredibly helpful and completely on top of everything, and he...

The world is small, and getting smaller. Virtually every destination offers a lux hotel, a family friendly resort, a chic boutique inn. Rare is the unique property that appeals as much to honeymooners as families, eco-travelers and urbanites, those seeking high design and those looking to just getaway. That property is the Tree House Lodge, where my family stayed for...

We stayed at the Costa Rica Tree House Lodge (the tree house building) for two nights in May 2012. This is like a child's fantasy of a hotel room, with trees sprouting up from the floor, a toilet inside a tree trunk, and suspension bridges connecting the master bedroom to the main living area. The unit has a full kitchen,...

I have to say the saving grace of this hotel was the staff. They were very concerned with our well-being. When we arrived, there wasn't anyone there to greet us or point us in the tight direction. No reception area was available. Our bus driver finally tracked someone down who was working on another house on the property. He came...
