Our trip was memorable. The air-conditioned bus ride out to the boats was interesting--viewing homes and working banana plantations. Delightful long passenger power boats took us through jungle-surrounded canals, waterways, and a major river and delivered us hot to the resort, where we gratefully accepted...More
Hospitality is the name of their game. We were greeted with cocktails and our room key. Lovely swimming pool shaped like a turtle. Fabulous food, buffet style. It was hot and humid, and our room was hot and humid. We had a fan, but we...More

Guess like any trip you just have to be careful and attentive. Wonderful place to visit, lots of wild life and very close to nature. Staff at resort are very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your trip.

Sorry, just saw this. No. Pachira lodge plans all of your activities. It's all inclusive and because of the remote nature of the trip, they plan everything. You can do zips or other activities during free time, but I'd recommend zipping in another CRan town. This is quite a unique experience and with all the activities they had, I chose to lounge by the pool and read.
