If you are on a honeymoon, the honeymoon suite is fabulous, very private, with its own outdoor jacuzzi!! Yet steps away from the main lodge and other guests. We have stayed in both the honeymoon suite and the regular tent-cabins, all most luxurious and yet with a feeling of simplicity that you have when camping in the wilderness.Food is also... More

Where to begin. When you arrive you are in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds you. No noise of the city and Rafiki has everything you could want. Rafting, hiking and 5 star tent camping like I've never experienced before. The guides and the staff are all here to serve and inform you of all the plant and wildlife... More

We spent a couple of days at Rafiki during September and had a fantastic time. 4 Adults and 2 young children. It was perfect for the kids, plenty of space for them to run around and totally safe at all times. Every aspect was faultless, the safari tents, the staff, the food - all first class. The main bar/restaurant has... More

This is a review of the Rafiki Safari Lodge's white-water rafting tour, not the lodge itself. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime! YOU WILL GET WET!!!! YOU WILL HAVE TO PADDLE!!!! But, this is one of the most wonderful, exciting, thrilling, and fun tours in the world! YOU DO NOT NEED A CAMERA!!! Unless it is completely water-proof,... More

We spent 3 nights there in August and it was a wonderful true rainforest experience!! The very best part of the trip was the tour guides. We cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. They were so knowledgeable and supportive and fun, they made the trip for us. We were lucky enough to do the white water rafting tour,... More

Our family stayed here for just one night after a week at the beach in Montezuma and just before flying home. We wanted to see some of the interior before leaving CR. We were also looking for something to keep us busy on our last day since our flight didn't leave until after midnight. I explained our itinerary by email... More

We went white water rafting with Rafiki though we were staying in Manuel Antonio. The trip was perfect from the start with our awesome guide Kenneth! He was wonderful with our 10 year old and made the trip so much fun with great stories, humor, and a true love of Costa Rica. The ride down the river is gorgeous, stunning... More

We spent 3 nights at Rafiki lodge in Nov, 2015. We drove there by rental car. The road was not in very good shape because of a recent washout due to high rainfall. If you do drive make sure you have 4x4. I can't say enough positive things about the lodge. It is off the beaten path. but if that... More
