Our 3 teen boys, my husband & myself all LOVED this place/experience. I can’t say enough about how great this trip was for us. We planned an outing each day which ‘Loky’ (Owner) helped me plan before we went. The perfect amount of activity, adventure, exploring, and just

We cannot rave about this lodge enough. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was an absolutely amazing adventure! The food, the activities, the waterslide, the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle, just wow! It took us 45 minutes of driving to get to the hotel, which

This is one of the coolest experiences ever! Rafiki is 10 miles in the middle of beautiful lush dry forest. Its nota an easy journey in as the road is quite bumpy and dusty - but what would you expect?? There are several signs encouraging travelers to keep going. The lodge

An off the beaten path jewel. We went for a day trip to discover a new Costa Rican destination. We were delightfully surprised. We ordered our lunch. We hiked the trails for an hour through well maintained trails. Our meals were ready for our return. We enjoyed cool breezes

We had an amazing day white water rafting at Rafiki Lodge. The instructors were professional and very clear with what was required. During the trip we stopped for a swim in the river, and later during the day we went to a beautiful waterfall for a swim and some fresh fruit for

Hi, The Savegre Valley brings cool breezes from over 12,000 feet down to the camp, so it is quite pleasant at night. Rafiki is not really all that buggy. You will find the beaches in the country to have more bugs. We (unfortunetaly in my opinion) have improved the internet at the lodge. You don't have to tell your kids, but yes there is good quality wifi. I prefer to see family play cards, engage in conversation with other families, sit in the hot tub and watch the stars, or go down the slide at night (yeooow!).Let me know if you have any other questions! Sincerely, Lautjie

"all tent lodging is superior"
"Safari tents are luxurious and all are likely great"
"The closest tents aren't as private as the more distant ones, but the distance can be a bit of a walk."
"Tents 1-2 are next to the main lodge, but they are all very close."
"We stayed in Tent #1 which was great, though we could hear talking in the open-air dining room from our tent. The cicadas drown it out."
