Nice hotel with a beautiful view. Good looking, clean rooms with private porch. Cooking facilites and fridge. The howler monkeys which lives in the forest are an excellent and exotic form for wake up call.

We splurged on this reservation as it sounded so wonderful on the website. The most expensive per night stay of our monthlong trip. There is a fridge and coffeemaker on the covered deck and the bed is comfortable. The structure of the building is beautiful. Your grocery list should include before arriving: soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, fruits, juice, snacks, candle,...

hello Joan, we were a bit surprised by your comment, because when you left you seemed excited, especially for the amount of animals that you could see and take pictures directly from your terrace, in every way we thank you because the negative notes enables us to improve. We want to point out that a quick look on expedia and...

Very cozy, inexpensive. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, the views are excellent, and the Monocongo monkeys need to be heard to be believed! The owners, Nadia and Marco, are lovely people, friendly and accommodating. It's a quiet, small place, which suited us fine. There is a patio that is open for reading, sunset viewing, or whatever. One caveat:...

Wonderful view! Really Nice and very clean rooms! And the service, couldn't be more satisfied! They helped us so much, everything from were we should eat to book surfing lessons and busses. This was our first stop on our trip, now I'm afraid we're going to be disappointed on everything else.

My wife and I have now stayed at this amazing place on four separate trips to Costa Rica. This last trip we stayed at Vista Naranja for 11 nights in April/May 2016. We love it here. The views are amazing. We saw two different types of monkeys, many different types of birds, and lots of other animals. The gardens around...

The room is welcoming, spacious and clean, with lots of natural colors (wooden deck and furniture), the deck offers incredible setting, plus the sink fridge and such as located there, its like having two rooms! You will not find ANY...

Can't recommend highly enough. Stunningly beautiful and affordable. The owner Marco is very kind and knowledgeable. All four rooms have incredible decks overlooking the tree canopy and ocean. Giant glass windows and doors. Perfect for a couple.

Vista Naranja is the perfect quaint hotel in Mal Pais. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. It is clean, quiet, and has amazing ocean and sunset views. Marco and his wife are such generous hosts - more than accommodating, and always around for questions, recommendations, or just to hang out and chat. We loved the...

This hotel is a special place. The access road is pretty hairy the first time but you get used to it. Comfortable room and balcony. View is spectacular. Monkeys in the trees right in front of your balcony. Owners work very hard to please. Breakfast on balcony is special. The down side is no AC. Also this entire area doesn't...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Vista Naranja is an energetically healing home, built in 2011. The house has been designed honoring the ancient tradition of “Feng Shui” and is inlayed with hidden crystals throughout its architecture. Special measurements and orientation of architectural features in the home help it to harmonize its inhabitants with good luck and increased well-being. The interior floors of the rooms and apartment are polished white concrete that feels cool and soft to the feet. During the day you can sit on your own teakwood terrace while enjoying the soft ocean breeze and observe nature as it comes to you… Monkeys, birds, parrots, butterflies, and iguanas are some of our regular guests, but at times we see migrating whales in the distance or some even more elusive wildlife. Let the ocean-wave lullaby sing you into dreamland so you can wake up refreshed for another day of adventure. THE ROOMS All four rooms on the second floor have a fantastic ocean view from private terraces and they are furnished with queen beds, fans, screened windows and doors, safes and private bathrooms with hot water. The two central rooms also have fully equipped kitchenettes. The terraces can be inter-connected to create one or two apartments accommodating up to 8 people. APARTMENT The apartment is situated at ground level with a spectacular private ocean view. The “Teak Terrace” is furnished with a complete kitchen including a stove with oven and a full-sized fridge, a table for 6 and a comfortable lounging couch. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a queen and single bed, a shared bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower, hot water and a security box. ... more   less
