We were most excited about this hotel on our 10-day trip, and I really wish I were giving this 5 stars. The hotel is in an amazing location with incredible views and the rooms are lovely. If we had stayed away from the restaurant I might add a star, but we didn't. The staff was very nice but disorganized (new...

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed it more than we initially expected to! During our first couple of hours here we were a bit apprehensive, given we had just come from a lovely place in another part of the peninsula, that there was no phone in the room in case we needed anything (this is still an issue...

Casa Chameleon is set on a hill overlooking the jungle and the ocean. So picturesque an the staff is wonderful. We had our own small pool and I don't think I have ever relaxed so much. We loved that it was secluded.....I know there are other villas, but you really don't even see them with the foliage. So if you...

I wanted to like this place so much. We were treated very well by staff -- David, Junior, Andres, and Jaime -- and I want to specifically mention those people as being outstanding ambassadors of their company, this resort, and their country. They made us feel welcome in every respect. However.... The first incident occurred about the 2nd day --...

All the staff went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. The location is beautiful, the villas are very nice and private and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Watching howler monkeys go about their business in the rainforest while having a drink in your private pool is a wonderful experience. On the negative side, it must be...

Came here on our honeymoon during the week before Christmas. Major highlights: -Weather was perfect. Rainy season ends at the beginning of December and the end of December is a good time to come before it gets too hot in January-April. -Mal Pais is a sleepy little fishing village but well off the main drag of Santa Teresa. The nightlight...

We went to spend 3 days of our honeymoon trip. Lets divide our opinion in pros and cons: PROS: Best views ever: Our villa was the caoba one, it was absolutely amazing, with an infinite pool incredible views and perfectly tidy, with all the amenities you need to feel like at home in the middle of paradise. Privacity: you feel...

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Casa Chameleon last week and it absolutely blew me away. The pictures of the villas simply do not do them justice. Incredible view! Pool was cold but felt great after a long day of exploring! Outdoor shower is an awesome touch. The entire staff was amazing as well - Andres and Junior...

The food was so fresh and delicious! Junior, Andres, and David were always at our service and so friendly and accommodating. Ulisses will give you tips on the...

Just spent 10 nights at Casa Chameleon with lot of pros but also lots of cons. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment. Overall a very pleasant stay but at these prices we probably wouldn’t stay again as we didn’t feel we got value for money. Also at the end of our stay a lockbox with tip envelopes...
