Comfortable hotel with peaceful view of Pacific Ocean. Chirping of birds will make your stay very soothing. Rooms are decent, do not expect high standards of furniture and equipment. Worth for the value. I would recommend this for everyone and enjoy with Javier ( Our only caretaker of the hotel ). Make sure you check in before 7 PM.

The cabin had a great view and even the monkeys visited us in the morning. You have to be careful on not leaving food in the balcony, the little capuchino monkeys can take it really fast. The National Park is close but not walking distance. If you don´t have a car, you can take the bus.

When asking for the payment they presented us a price that was higher as in the booking confirmation from booking.com that clearly stated taxes included. Hence we called the owner Irene which insisted that we paid the higher price. I explained her that taxes were already included but she just started shouting at me and as I tried to reply...

We stayed here on a last minute booking as we did not plan to stop at Manuel Antonio but it was getting late. The room was a little cramped for three of us, but it was very functional and we had a nice private balcony with a great view and hammock. There is a small kitchenette which could be very...

Not sure if all suites have kitchens, but our had a small kitchen with all the...

Stayed at the Villas de la Selva February 22nd, 23rd & 24th 2014 The “town” of Manual Antonio is really the entire area between the town of Quepos & the border of Manual Antonio National Park. The “town” of Manual Antonio is very touristy with many large high-end (expensive) hotels. We typically look for smaller hotels with some character, as...

This hotel has amazing views over the Pacific. Rooms are quite basic but excellent value for money, when compared with others in the area. Close to the park beaches and restaurants. We stayed here in low season and had the place to ourselves. The manager couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. A basic understanding of Spanish would help if...

We arrived and were greeted by a very gracious inn keeper. The views are amazing. The grounds well kept. The pool is clean and cool. The rooms vary in size but all have fabulous decks that overlook the ocean. The rooms have kitchenettes that make breakfast and lunch simple. The rooms are clean but a little rustic if you are...

This place is about 1km or so from the park entrance. Note that there is no sidewalk from time to time. Bus/taxi is the alternative. The villa is about 150m to the beach below, if you trespass through the ground of the other hotel below. It is a steep walk. There are a few restaurants up the hill that is...
