After touring various locales in Costa Rica, we ended our trip with a 3 night stay at the Parador Resort Hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer! This resort was perfect. The hotel itself was exquisite, with lots of sculptures, art and quiet, quaint places to relax. The two main pools with infinity edges and a swim up bar...

on arrival we were met by Cynthia at reception. Check in was quick and we were offered cool towels and a cocktail after our 4 hour drive to reach this last destination on our tour of Costa Rica. Reception will insist that you leave a 300 dollar credit card deposit on your room, we didn't have a credit card only...

I visited Hotel Parador in Manuel Antonio National Park last December. It took me a long time to write the review because I had no time but here goes. We were staying at the nicest room in the entire resort. It is at the farthest building, by the adult pool, and is the highest and most spacious room. Every room...

The grounds are lovely and well maintained, the food was fine but nothing to rave about, (breakfast was a bit disappointing),the staff was accommodating but not 5 ⭐️. Rooms were very nice and clean. Pools were lovely but small and for towels one had to walk to the middle of the resort to check out. In my opinion, two of the...

we loved the monkeys, birds especially the Macaws, crabs that came right up to our sliding door, and iguanas. we enjoyed the spa and the pools. And the staff was great. Our room was great with easy access to everything.

We read the extensive previous reviews (as you do!) before booking and the universally positive comments on wildlife swung our decision to stay here and we were not disappointed! 'Flash' the resident sloth, monkeys, iguanas, lizards, birds in abundance (including a toucan on our balcony!)! Terrific walking trails, guided early morning tours through the extensive grounds made it all worth...

This was our 'relax' after a tour of Costa Rica and were we glad that we had extended our extension to 6 days. We did have to wait some time for our room to be ready but I had emailed the hotel beforehand to ask for a room that overlooked bushes and trees rather than the tennis court that I...

The hotel property is very nice but I cannot recommend staying here at all. From the moment we arrived the staff was very cold and unfriendly. The only people that were nice at all were the bartenders and one of the waiters. The customer service was even worse. I asked the concierge to please call a particular restaurant to make...

Hits---Like others in on this site, this hotel offers stunning contradictions. A beautiful location. Perched on the highest point of what seemed like "hotel hill", overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Gorgeous views. Alot of wildlife. Iguanas, monkeys, parrots. Nice pools--not suitable for laps, but this is a resort, not the gym. Also, close to one of the beaches in the area....

Just spent three nights at Hotel Parador. At first, I was disappointed in the room. I had reserved a premium plus room which had a view of the pool and ocean but you had to look around several rooftops to get an unobstructed view. (The premium plus rooms are accessible only by a steep stairway or exterior lift and additional...
