We arrived late at night, during driving rain, on a narrow winding road. Power started cutting off after we checked in. The Medieval theme, somewhat dated room and an insect in the bath tub didn't help much. It was sort of a Haunted Mansion experience. The following morning wiped all this out. Stunning ocean views, gorgeous grounds, extremely helpful stuff,...

The Parador Resort and Spa was a fabulous place to stay. Convenient to the National Park, and to the village of Quepos, with great service, a first rate restaurant, and great excursions and guides to the nearby beaches, bicycling and hiking. But the best part by far was the abundant wildlife on the grounds of the resort. We saw three...

This hotel has raised the bar for all the hotels I have visited after. There was nothing to not love about this hotel. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel in the suite building and our views were amazing. The room itself was also just about perfect. It was quite large, had beautiful furnishings and a patio with...

Nice staff very welcoming and prepared Always smiling ... We had an amazing room with a breathtaking view, a jacuzzi in the balcony and really enjoyed our stay. My room was stunning. Warm wood hues brightened by soft, light green bed spreads and white curtains that framed my patio view of the Pacific Ocean. The grounds and public rooms are stunning. I would go back in a heartbeat. I enjoyed the Special Parador massage at the spa. After 80 minutes I was ready to hike the next mountain...

The resort, rooms, staff , food.. everything was excellent. On Saturday night during the big storm the bar was busy and the young man running the bar seemed to be in over his head. Service was very slow and it was just easier to go up and get service, and still got the wrong meal. I felt sorry as he...

The location and animal spotting possibilities are superb, the porters and cleaners and waiting staff are fantastic. Especially Jonathan, and also the OceAn Vista cafe waiters. However, the reception and management staff are surly and unhelpful. The breakfast maitre d' was supercilious and stiff. Breakfast is very poor oven the hotels location and pretensions. Most days the fresh fruit was...

We really enjoyed our stay here .Everything was perfect and so enjoyable. The two sloths in the trees on the property were our best entertainment along with the monkeys, scarlet macaws and iguanas, that also roam the grounds. The food and service was 5 star and I highly recommend this wonderful resort !

Fantastic resort hotel in a quiet and beautiful part of Manuel Antonio. The resort has three beautiful pools and fabulous rainforest /gardens with plenty of wildlife. There is a wonderful secluded beach nearby. The rooms are huge with nice balconies. The staff are all delightful and the food served in the restaurants is imaginative, healthy and beautifully presented. Can't fault...

We decided to end our trip with Parador Resort and Spa. We spent 5 nights there. The weather is warmer than the north and we were lucky because we only had maybe one morning of rain. It did rain during the night for three nights but the days were sunny. The resort is huge, there is even a walk in...
