We wanted to stay in a hotel for new years and this was one of the few available. We decided on the king suite so we could spoil ourselves. The suite is large, with a separate bedroom, a nice sized bathroom, and a living room. There is a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and 2 tv's. (One in living room and...

These are the best French fries we've had in Costa Rica. Chicken fingers were good and pasta dishes flavorful and nicely presented. The pizza, not so good. The crust was limp and wet and the toppings bland and uninteresting.

This is the second hotel that I've stayed at in Manuel Antonia that I've been a bit disappointed at. Very clean, friendly staff but very outdated. I guess you get what you pay for and the prices are very reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Byblos. We stayed in a bungalow, and the bungalows are spacious, clean and have a comfortable bed and shower. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very tasty in the bistro at the poolside. If you are looking for something cheaper, the sports bar upstairs has great finger food! If you want to book a trip...

Our family has logged at least five trips to Costa Rica now and our favorite area is Manuel Antonio and our favorite place to stay is Byblos. It is clean, safe and beautiful with all the charm and peace we love for jungle/beach trips. I have visited more expensive and less expensive places in the area and other countries and...

You can see a lot of monkeys in the hotel. if you are lucky, you can also see scarlet macaw and other animals. The room is big and clean. Breakfast is not buffet style. Our tour package includes breakfast so we could only order one breakfast. Not nice comparing with the buffet style breakfast of other hotels in our tour...

Byblos is a fun hangout in Manuel Antonio. The staff and drinks were wonderful! There is foosball, pool, and giant jenga for entertainment. Best chiliguaro shot in town, highly recommend! Fun, fun, fun!

The bungalows are so nice with wonderful rainforest showerhead in bath. Also great porches facing into the lush landscaping. Lot of howler monkeys; they can start a little early in the morning -- so that is a matter of personal preference (we liked it). Also, there are quite a few steps to bungalows; which is a consideration for some.
