Stayed here for two nights in the main hotel whichwas sufficient with a balcony. Cabins were booked. the pool area was great with a restaurant/bar right there which was really good. A group of capuchin monkeys were hanging out right at the pool. We booked an ATV trip through the hotel which was great (our 5 and 9 year olds...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Byblos for the second time when we returned to Costa Rica. We love Costa Rica and the Byblos is always our favorite place to stay. Very affordable and beatiful setting with monkeys in the jungle canopy overhead everyday. The sports bar is always a hot spot for travelers, so makes it even better...

My wife, 2 teenagers (15 & 13) and I stayed over the Thanksgiving break and had a fantastic time. Note, this is not a 5* ultraluxury resort, rather a family-run, well appointed high quality hotel. Staff are outstanding, always happy to help in booking outings, giving you a lift to the beach and making sure things are right. For example,...

We stayed at Byblos for 3 nights; we originally booked one of their Bungalows, but as they had an unexpected problem with the room, they offered to upgrade us to a Suite for our stay. The Suite was very large, clean, nicely decorated with a beautiful view of the Pacific oecan and the jungle behind us; some parts of the...

We stayed at Byblos for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was very helpful for booking trips and getting around town. The hotel is in easy walking distance to many of the great restaurants and bars and even the local grocery store, so very convenient. We also ate many of our meals at the hotel...

So we had planned on 4 nights at Byblos, but once arriving we dropped the last two in favor of something nicer. I'm not saying Byblos is terrible--it's just wasn't quite up-to-par with the price, or what we felt we could get for a small amount more. The grounds are fairly nice--and the hotel's best feature is the many monkeys...

My husband and I went to Costa Rica on our honeymoon. We started in San Jose, then La Fortuna, Monteverde and finally to Manuel Antonio. Byblos and Manuel Antonio were by far our favorite stop along the trip. The room we had for just the two of us was much bigger than any of the other hotels we stayed at....

The Byblos Resort is situated directly on the main road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio Park. It is a long walk down the road to the beach, so you would probably need transportation. We stayed in a bungalow, and although it was a little on the small side, it worked well for our needs. We did have a nice balcony...

My group enjoyed our short stay in a bungalow in early September. The staff was very helpful & aided our vacation by helping arrange for transportation to/from Byblos and with advice on restaurants, hikes, rafting, and zip lining. The pillows were not very comfortable and the casino doesn't have much to offer. This hotel offers a large variety of amenities...
