This is a hidden gem of a hotel. It is eco friendly but has amenities that other hotels don't have. The front desk staff was amazing, helpful, and oblidged my requests(thank you jason, Miguel, Diego, and others). The room in Costa Verde 2 was perfect,...More
We stayed here for three nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no problems and enjoyed the hotel and the pool. It's a nice location close to the park and within walking distance to several of their restaurants. The only reason we gave...More
Our family stayed in Studio Room D3 which was a decent size room with AC, a tv, a small bathroom, a kitchenette, and a great ocean/ rainforest view. The room was nice and clean, despite ants on the floor(which is to be expected). The beach...More
Really nice hotel. Loved our stay in the cockpit cottage. The attention to detail was amazing. White face monkey's showing up every night for happy our was a treat. Views were terrific. My one complaint is it would have been nice to have a bar...More
We travel a lot, but my husband and I both agreed that the 727 Fuselage Home at Hotel Costa Verde was our most unique vacation rental experience ever! The accommodations were comfortable; the setting was stunning; and the location was convenient to everything in Manuel...More

We stayed in c-15 - it was in the 'adults only' building which is called CV 2. I would recommend any room in that building for quiet and not too close to the road. If you can swing the top floor - the views are epic, but as well any of the ocean-facing rooms in that building had spectacular views! Not sure where the A bungalows are, but there might be a map of the property online?
Enjoy your stay - we loved it there! SO many monkeys!!

It looks like this answer is very late but may help others: My wife religiously drank bottled water and I always drank water served in a glass in restaurants during our two week trip around Costa Rica. We both washed our teeth with tap water. Neither of us had any issues. The places we ate and drank were mostly resorts and your experience may vary depending on your level of immersion in non-resort experiences. It would be interesting to know what the situation was where the RPN at Passport Health developed their advice. I suggest that you will do fine if you evaluate each food and drink situation and act accordingly, just like you do in the USA. Enjoy!
