Hotel was a great location, not quite in Manuel Antonio proper but very close. I was visiting over Thanksgiving and they had a Thanksgiving Dinner that day that was absolutely spot on -- used their brick pizza oven to roast the turkey, excellent mashed potatoes, delicious roasted vegetables. The rooms were clean and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend this... More

This is small hotel where the staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us good advice on where to go and what to do without spending too much money. I did not feel like we were staying at a hotel with rules and regulation but more like a villa where we were free to do as we please. The breakfast... More

We started without a booking, just called , and got a really sweet room for more then a reasonable rate. If you haven't been to Manuel Antonio, you probably imagine this as a small town on a beach, like we did. It is a road through very steep mountains , with places on both sides, and even steeper rates. They... More

Great place stay in middle of Manuel Antonio. Service was great, room clean. They help me with tours in area. Wednesday live music at the restaurant was amazing. Try cheese fingers and pizza. Of course not both at the same time.

Lovely garden hillside setting, a million stairs to the "best room" with a great ocean view (far away), but we couldn't sleep - traffic noise as engines revved outside trying to make the steep curve on the road. That finally got quiet after 10 pm. Then the rooster at the house behind the hotel started crowing at 1 a.m. And... More

Terrible hotel. Advertised as a luxury hotel but in reality it is a BED AND BREAKFAST with over one million steps to get to your room. Rooms smelled and need to be upgraded. In reality what hotel room does not have a telephone or television? This was the first in all my years traveling. Would never come back.

You can save some money & not bother with the sunset cruise if you were considering it. There's a balcony surrounding the room which allows you the privacy to relax in the majesty of what you'll witness as the sun goes down. The room itself is clean, spacious, with a high ceiling, wooden furniture, a comfortable double bed, and panoramic... More

La Colina was an absolutely gorgeous place. Be ready to walk your luggage up possibly many stairs, but the view is definitely worth it! The staff was extremely helpful from the start. They offered to set up Manuel Antonio park transportation, tour and guide(we had a rented car and did not take them up on this). What we did take... More

We had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food including the free breakfast was excellent. The staff went out of their way to recommend places and show us how to get there that we could enjoy with our kids without breaking our budget.

Customer service is not good, especially from the manager Esteban. He is not customer oriented at all. The breakfast was terrible, pancakes were not well cooked, it's not worth the value. We preferred to pay for breakfast at another place the second day. The room was clean and comfortable, however the air conditioner did not cool the room enough. There... More

This person did not like anything about Costa Rica. We are a small friendly hotel and all of the staff are happy to help. If you have an under cooked pancake, simply ask we will make you either another pancake or something else. The internet was out all over in Manuel Antonio during this time period due to a severe...
