Very friendly and helpful staff, great location to either park or beach, cute pool area, and kids loved the iguanas and frogs. We were looking for clean, simple, and convenient, and we felt relaxed and comfortable here. Very welcoming.

We stayed here for a few days during our visit to Manuel Antonio. It's a small hotel with a little courtyard and a tiny pool. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. This is not a fancy place but it's affordable and nice in a very unpretentious way. Lots of wildlife right outside the room. White...

This was our first hotel in Costa Rica and when we arrived we raised our eyebrows at how shabby the place initially appeared. The bathroom in particular felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Although the air conditioning and the beds were fine. However the staff immediately made us feel welcome and although the pool is small our kids...

We were booked in here by our travel agent after our original hotel was fully booked. It looked OK on the Web site so we agreed. The 2 guys who run the place were nice and friendly but really the site is a bit of a mess. Rooms - we were in 2 downstairs 'bungalows' right next to the pool....

Located right at the bustling entrance to Manuel Antonio Park, this hotel is still a quiet oasis. It has all the basics, but not the frills- so if you want deluxe, go elsewhere. However, they do the basics well: clean rooms with good hot water, a good hot breakfast made to order, and outdoor sitting areas and plunge pool. The...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our vacation. Overall it was just ok. The rooms were minimal but clean. Our toilet seat was off the hinges and the AC could have worked better. The location to the beach and park was great. Downside is our villa was literally on top of gate to park. Noise started...

First of all this hotel is not right on the beach and there really aren't any bungalows. And the restaurant and bar are pretty minimal. That said, it is located right next to the entrance to Manuel Antonio park. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. And they have boogie boards you can barrow. Also 5 minutes to shops and...

This is one of those places where the photos on their website made the hotel look a lot nicer than it really is. I guess whoever put together their website gets credit for that. I had reserved a Garden View Suite and when we checked in we were very unimpressed with the room. Fortunately for us the AC didn't work...

This hotel could not be located any better. Right next to the park entrance (send one person in your party to get park tickets right at 7am - you can then enter the park at your own pace a little later in the morning without the wait in line for tickets) there is a path almost directly across from the...

This hotel has a wonderful staff who is very helpful. The air-conditioning works great and you will want it because it gets very hot. It's right next to the entrance to the national Park which is very convenient. A swimming pool. A deer that appears each evening allows you to pet it and feed it watermelon. Good breakfast every morning....
