Like any place, there's good an dbad. Here's the good: Pleasant helpful staff, clean room, good location if you have biz in Quepos, like fishing from a boat in the marina--great, or otherwise, and not M.A.. Here's the bad: Location is good as I say if you have biz in Quepos, if not, horrible. It's in a tico neighborhood, not...

Thank you very much for your review. You are right ¨the reviews are accurate¨except yours, To begin saying that its a 30 to 60 min walk to Quepos --- Maybe on your hands and knees --- is stretching your credability right there my friend . But you were right that most reviews are correct and since we have almost a...

We spent the last 4 days of our 3 week costa rica adventure here for some rest prior to the flight back home. I liked being near quepos...a truer version of costa rica than manuel antonio. We had a rental car so the 10min drive to manuel antonio was not an issue. The kitchen was fully stocked from microwave to...

Rooms are beautiful. A bit off the beat and path but town and marina is easily walkable. Swimmable beaches are a cab or drive away. Very quiet during the day as most visitors are off doing tours or at the beach. If you want to chill at the small but comfortable pool make sure you have your own snacks and...

Wherever I've traveled in the world, I love to find the small "gem" to get as close to the natural surroundings of the area as possible. Las Cascadas fulfilled that completely! I won't belabor the other reviews, as it is true ... if your looking for that expensive "resort", they're just down the road about 15 minutes and cost about...

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. It feels like your sleeping in the jungle while still having the necessary air conditioning unit. Also the food in there kitchen was really good especially the pancakes. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Costa Rica.

The hotel is nice but you should not expect a first class hotel. The hotel is located in walking distance to the harbour and the village but I would not like to do the walk in the night. The staff of the hotel s very friendly and you can feel the family spirit everywhere. Our room had a nice view...

overall we had a nice stay, but some things were not as their web site suggests. we stayed at the canopy room - it's a nice room, but the view was less stunning than I had anticipated by the steep climb up. and don't be fooled - it is a very very steep climb! they were nice to help us...

Thanks for staying with us , We appreciate your constructive criticism. All guests are informed about the challenging access to the Dome and Canopy suites. They are not for everyone , but most people looking for an adventure LOVE IT . Several times a week you will have monkeys swinging from your balcony and dancing on the roof. For most...

We just recently got back from our 5 night stay in Costa Rica and I have to say that everything about Las Cascades seemed average except for the wonderful family and their service. We recently stayed for a week at this wonderful place and immediately fell in love with the room, view, the people, and the location. Our opinion of Las Cascadas was dampened before we arrived. Their reservation policy is to charge 50% at the time of booking and the other 50% 15 days before arrival. This is the only accomodation in Costa Rica that made me pay for the entire stay before we got there. I'm sure this isn't entirely uncommon - particularly for high...

Thank you for your candid review , As you said in your review it is very common for a hotel to take full charge of the room when you reserve . I just came back from a 3 week trip to Europe and all my rooms were paid for in advance . We are actually quite liberal in our policies...
