This hotel is located about 10 min from Manuel Antonio. The Villas are very nice, the room was very clean. We had a pretty big room since we were 4 people (2 Queen beds), the bathroom was very big ! The room also had a desk, a small fridge. The pool was also very clean and not too crowded. We...

If you love the vibe of Manuel Antonio you will love this hotel. From other reviews it seems all rooms might be very different. Room 201 was great! Hard to find without help but we had our own walkway to a sliding glass door that was our room. VERY spacious room and bathroom. Felt like we were in the Park....

We did not have a good experience at this hotel. No room ready at check-in... in fact, not a room available with 2 beds and we were traveling with 2 adults and 2 children. They put us in the suite which is a living room and a master and placed 2 mattresses on the floor. Very dark rooms with little...

Beautiful rooms and grounds with attractive restaurant and pools. Nice landscaping with mature trees, including one growing through the lounge. Attractively decorated with paintings of CR wildlife. Wifi in lobby and restaurant, but weak /unreliable in rooms. Buffet breakfast. Dinner in restaurant a bit expensive- $15+ per entree. Near laundry, restaurants, supermarket, and liquor store. Toucans, monkey and sloth spotted...

The rooms are nice but it lacks privacy. Ask for a room in the 2nd floor or away from the pool if you want privacy. We've traveled in a group of friends so it was really nice staying near the smallest pool.

After my initial shock of finding out I was assigned to the dreaded room #302, as no other room was available, I tried to make the best of it. As the room was dim, I asked for an extra lamp. Actually, I liked the tile work in the bathroom. Facing the pool area, it was really noisy and with the...

The accommodations were clean. However the room was very dark & despite lamps & other lighting weirdly remained very dark. My biggest complaint is the noise. Due to proximity to the main road you will hear traffic, namely loud motor bikes, whizzing through till 10:30 pm & starting again at 5:30 am. It was just too loud & nowhere near...

I had a room (105) that opened up to a lap pool. I liked that they had chaise lounges outside on both sides so you could sit quietly and read or use the internet. It also had 4 English speaking tv channels which was nice. I liked the set up of the rooms and it doesn't' feel like a large...

The Hotel Villas Lirio is a beautiful hotel, designed to be a part of nature. It is mostly outside with rooms facing gardens and pools. My room opened to a patio and I could walk directly into a swimming pool. To get to the Breakfast Buffet you walked through a tropical garden. So much about this hotel was good with...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in November 2016. I cannot believe that this property is so highly rated. Now…the rooms. *Sigh* The room I was given (#302) was small, dark, and musty.
