Such a relaxing space with a concentration on wellness and sustainability! Really clean facilities and an all-around zen vibe to the place. Location is great - walking distance from the waterfall, the beach, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and street vendors. A great patio to relax on with coffee in the morning and comfortable accommodations. Montezuma is definitely one of...

Very chill place, really clean and friendly! It's on a hillside in between trees so it's a really zen atmosphere. Great kitchenette to prepare your food. Amazing free coffee! The owner and all the staff are really helpful! Great location, loved it! We stayed in room 1 which has a shared balcony where we enjoyed a nightly nightcap with fellow...

I stayed 3 nights in Luna Llena together with 3 friends, and this place was great. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to town (5 minutes home, since it's steep uphill :-). We stayed in private rooms with toilet/shower, and I must say, that at first it looked a little spartan, but it completely grew on us. The rooms...

The hotel/hostel was in a great location set amongst the trees with monkeys climbing over the roofs, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with any information required. We had a private room with a large balcony overlooking the ocean, the room was large with twin beds with private shower/toilet. The walk back from...

Nice clean place. Shared well stocked kitchen. Super friendly helpful staff. Family run. Nice view, good for watching monkeys and birds. I was even given a beer when they found out it was my birthday, top notch! Would stay there again anytime

I was here Jan 2 - Jan 7 and loved everything about it. The location was great. The uphill walk from town might be tough if you are elderly or injured, but I enjoyed the exercise after meals or laying on the beach. The rooms were really spotless and had great fans. The common area was big and cozy and...

This was my first trip staying at hostel style hotels and Luna Llena helped make my first time great. Our room was basic but had everything we needed for the 4 of us, including an oscillating fan. We were upstairs in room #10 so we had a shared bathroom. We had a nice common area upstairs with a fantastic view...

We've stayed at Luna Llena several times. I love the ambiance and the energy of the owners/management. However, your experience will be dictated by what room you choose. Room #15, the private bath with ocean view room, is RIGHT next to the road. We stayed on a Saturday night and it felt as if we were sleeping in Chico's, the...

I have liked my stay here, especially the use of the kitchen and sitting on the terrace and the relaxed atmosphere. But the sea views are not 'incredible' and the hotel is located next to a road so you hear the cars all the time. My room (a single room) was very small, had no daylight at all and it...

Our room was clean, the shared restroom and showers were kept clean, as were the common areas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ocean and jungle views are fantastic! This is not a luxury resort, but if you are looking for luxury, Montezuma may not be for you. We experienced lots of up close wildlife here, including waking...
