El Remanso is pretty much perfect. Period. From start to finish, it is a great experience. Gabby helps with your reservations and makes sure everything is seamless. From arrival to departure, you can do as much or as little as you want. I recommend all of the onsite activities; the guides are great. My husband and I also enjoyed horseback...

El Remanso occupies 800 acres (only 2 + the lodge halls and casitas, the rest rain forest, Pacific beach & trails) on the remote Osa Peninsula's Golfo Dolce. After short hop in small plane, lodge staff pick you up, drive 22 KM to a spot blessedly free of WiFi (though there is access via their office in town& a wired...

This was our 4th trip to Costa Rica. We always stay 3 to 4 days at a property, then move on. Put this one on your list whether you are a first time CR visitor or a repeat. Good layout. Restaurant/bar is good with views and easy wildlife viewing while enjoying your meal or a drink. Great staff with on-site...

Beautiful location eco lodge where there is real focus on preserving the environment. Run by a young spanish/german couple with a perfect touch. The cabins are comfortable and roomy. The resturant/food are excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The activities are well concieved and don't miss the abseiling down the waterfalls. The beach is deserted and vast but unfortunately...

I spent 4 days in here in Feb 5th thru the 9th with my wife and two kids. There really is no way to explain our experience in words. The resort is beautiful and the rainforest around the resort is pristine. The staff was warm and welcoming. We have been all over Costa Rica in the last few years but...

El Remanso was the first hotel on a 2 week holiday my partner and i visited in April. We had never been to anywhere like it before, so it was all new to us. As you can see from all the other reviews this place is unique. As soon as we landed, after a bumpy but exciting plane journey, we...

The El Remanso "Ecolodge" is a bit off the beaten track. We travelled around Costa Rica for three weeks and chose to use a variety of transport. We arrived by private transfer from Cosinga Lodge near Uvita. Check out Ride CR we booked on-line with our phone and it saved 100$ US.El Remanso has an office and courtesy suite near...

We stayed at El Remanso for our final 3 days of our two week Costa Rica vacation. The Osa Peninsula is a very unique and remote area of the country. The opportunities to see wildlife[ especially birds and monkeys] are abundant. El Remanso is a "ecolodge" and that is stressed throughout your stay. The property is beautiful and the facilities...

We flew from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez, landed and stopped by the cemetery. Met by the resort’s rep, loaded our and other guests luggage in the back of the resort’s vehicle and off we set for a 40min drive along unmade roads to the resort. On our arrival we were taken to the restaurant/lounge area, where we met with...
