My friend and I stayed at Lad Islas Lodge at Puerto Jimenez last week, for 3 nights. Very soon we have concluded that this place is 'above and beyond' of all our expectations: The place is beautiful -surrounded with the jungle trees, flowers and animals; The cabins are big, super clean, with a private balcony with a hammock, and most...

We've had some difficulties finding good accommodation on this trip, then we stumbled into this place. Bungalows are nice & clean. The grounds are nice as is the pool. And it's quiet! But it's the people that make it shine! Maria, Elena, Nena, and Johnny(there are more whose names I don't know yet) go way out of their way to...

We stayed here the night before and the night after our 2 night Corcovado hike. Since they realized we would be leaving early in the morning, they packed us PB&Js, Ham and Cheese sandwiches, sliced watermelon, cookies and some juices for our breakfast!! The fact that they went out of their way to do this and deliver it to us...

A bit over one km from town, 20 minute walk. Nice pool, clean and air conditioning, hot water (not as common as one would think in CR). The rooms have separate entries and individual ac, no tv, as if we missed it, comfortable beds, and large bathrooms. Wifi is included and there is laundry service available.

The service was good and the room was nice (large and had AC). It was pretty far from downtown though and taxis are expensive. You can order food from downtown, but it is pretty limiting. I think if I had known how far I might have chosen to stay somewhere closer, especially for the pretty expensive price, but it's not...

If you are headed to Puerto Jimenez, I would highly recommend staying at this place. It is a little bit outside of the town, but easy to find and get to (right off one of the paved roads). It has a pool, great (and complimentary) internet service, clean and comfortable cabins with AC and hot water, breakfast and towel service,...

This is a great family spot. Clean, good service, especially Hellen! Close to Puerto Jimenez and great beaches. Has a swimming pool and includes breakfast in the price. There is no lunch or dinner but they offer express food from different restaurants nearby.

Only stayed 1 night, but it was a fantastic night! Rooms are super clean, very comfortable and modern. Had AC, which was glorious after having spent some nights in Corcovado. Hotel had a very cute looking bar/restaurant (we didn’t get the chance to go, but it looked really nice!) Reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can see red-eye tree...

Booked a full day offshore fishing trip with Maestro boat out of Puerto Jiminez. The captain(Tony) and first mate(Jesus) were top notch and really know where to fish and how to take care of the customer. Our first deep sea fishing trip and caught/released a large Blue Marlin and a couple fish to eat. What a great, memorable experience for...

This was the second place we stayed in Costa Rica and like the first the bed was so firm it was like sleeping on plywood. I couldn't get more than 1-2 hrs sleep at a time and finally left a day early without a refund. Otherwise the Lodge is great, really nice rooms and staff. They really tried to help...
