My stay at Blue Osa was a magical experience. The lodging was wonderful and I loved our room which was so inviting. The food was such an experience of delight! All the meals were unique and delicious and healthy. The beachfront is just steps away and I spent many hours exploring and wandering as well as swimming. Some days, I...

The room was lovely and comfortable, the food healthy, delicious and plentiful, the landscape breathtaking and the staff exceptionally caring. The yoga studio was out of this world. Although in a remote location, the travel was relatively easy. I appreciated being off the grid with renewable energy and sustainable environmentally friendly practices.

I just returned from my second yoga retreat at Blue Osa, and it was an incredible experience. The open-air yoga studio is an absolutely stunning place to practice – surrounded by nature and the sounds of crashing waves. The food is amazing and prepared with so much love. Most of the ingredients come from the onsite organic farm. Very healthy...

In the overall I really enjoyed my stay at Blue Osa. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful and the place is beautiful. Yoga was outstanding with our teachers from Missoula. If anything negative I would say that the owner must have had some issues. Yelling at an employee in front of the guests for a lengthy period is...

Nice place to get away for Yoga. Any extras are very expensive. Suggest staying elsewhere to take advantage of excursions and spa services that don't come with hefty prices. Delicious food, nice staff and nice rooms. Please note- there is no air conditioning and room fans are on 30 minute timers.

It's hard to describe my experience at Blue Osa except as life changing. I will go back! I would recommend a yoga retreat at Blue Osa to anyone who asks. And to anyone who goes, my advice is to fully embrace the experience. Take it all in.... and enjoy! The staff was always friendly and there to make your stay...

I am a retreat leader have been leading retreats since 2012. I have led week-long retreats in Mexico (both Caribbean and Pacific sides), in Belize and in southern Utah. I also lead weekend retreats in Washington state several times a year. I have experienced many different retreat centers in different locations. Based on my experience, I would say that Blue...

Rooms were clean but nothing special. Pool was very warm so no place to cool off in a very hot and humid environment. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. You have to have a driver to go anywhere and they are not cheap. Walks on the beach when tides are low are it. This place is expensive for what it...

I really loved it! The staff was great, food great, loved the yoga and meditation classes. The only issue I had was that I had bed against far wall from windows, hard to sleep. I thought walking the premises was beautiful and relaxing. I had a facial that was refreshing and relaxing. I also liked jungle hike, FILO was informative...

The fan was sufficient. The food was fresh, healthy and tasty. The location is incredible as it's right by the water. If the ocean is too rough...

“Room 8,9,10 and 11 are close to the road. The room 8 is closest to the generator.”

“All of the rooms are beautiful and clean, have plenty of light, fans, hot water, and are spacious. the beds are very comfortable as well. This is an ecco resort; they walk their talk and expect you to do the same. Conserve water and electricity. No blow dryers, as they are off the grid and make their own electricity. The water in Costa Rica comes from deep springs, so you can drink from the faucet. What a treat to be living in harmony with Nature!”
