First impressions are important and this resort could do better. Faded street signs starting 100 km away, and entrance (probably temporary) via the parking lot and laundry lowered expectations. However the place grew on us. The beach is beautiful and the rooms are clean and spacious with excellent AC. The pool is fine. The food is average at best and...

We had a great time at Agua Dulce. The room was clean and well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view and the grounds were excellent and we would recommend the Agua Dulce to anyone traveling to Puerto Jimenez.

In a great location but it is quite far from the town itself so would recommend hiring a car, taxis are $15 each way. The restaurant will not allow you to put charges on your room so you need cash with you to pay for drinks and food. No safe in the room and minimum storage. Great location for seeing...

Hello, On behalf of ADL, I'd like to apologize if our service and accommodations were not as complpete as you expected. I would have been very happy to talk with you while staying here, so I could find another way to please you, but maybe you did not mentioned anything to our staff at the frontdesk. I've lived in Costa Rica for 12 years and there are parts of the country have not seen. I was planning a trip outside of the country but decided to see more of Costa Rica. Easy enough to get in the four-wheel drive and explore the country. In Puerto Jimenez, Osa Peninsula we stayed at hotel Agua Dulce. the staff...

We spent several nights here as a base for exploring some of the Osa Peninsula. The road to the resort is a little primitive but that lends to the experience, as the Osa is on the rugged side. Hotel room was nothing special. Clean and quiet however. Air conditioning was nice for a good nights' sleep. The pool was great...

This is truly a terrible hotel. In fact, I really don't understand why this got such great reviews and has earned a Tripadvisor Award of Excellence. It must only be because of the location. From the moment we arrived we felt very unwelcome. The hotel is run down, the rooms are dated, the bathroom simply horrible, the restaurant is terrible,...

Staff helped us plan a wonderful dolphin and snorkel tour! Staff was the best part of the stay. The bad. Road in is unpaved and very far from the city, the beach is rocky and mostly just a big surf break at high tide... Not ideal for swimming and would definitely take children even close to it as the riptide...

The hotel is not that easy to reach, (bumpy 6 km's from nearest village) , but thats why it is a great location to stay if you like the silence. The hotel has a great pool and good restaurant. Directly located on a fantastic deserted beach. Good place to relax after or before the exploration of the nature reserves.

First of all, it's a very gay unfriendly hotel. This has shown from our visit to their restaurant. The server laughed at me(even together with the owner) that I ordered a pinnapple juice without ice, without suggesting that they don't have cold juice in the fridge. Despite the fact that there were only four customers in the restaurant, we had...
