This place totally exceeded our expectations. My family of 4 stayed 4 nights and couldn't believe how spacious and beautiful it was. I was expecting typical apartment style accommodations and instead found that we had the top two floors of a very beautifully appointed home, complete with stunning hardwood floors and paneling, a beautiful kitchen and decks complete with hammocks...

If you enjoy being in nature this is the place for you. The unit we rented was very nice, with some minor complaints. Hot water was tough to come by in the showers. Other than that the place was great. The private beach that is mentioned is indeed there, but beware that the walk (more like hike) is not for...

My wife and I spent 6 days in this tropical paradise. Kristina and her dog Kiekan take immaculate care of the place inside and out. All of the furnishings are there for you (kitchen, laundry, etc.) if you need them. We dined out often, including with Kristina (see pictures). However, we also had breakfasts and a few other meals in...

This was a great place to stay. We stayed in apartment one and there were 4 of us. Kristina was lovely and so helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great and such a nice addition. I think we got the most use out of the porch and relaxing...

I loved staying at Villa Kristina in Apartment 1. We are a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 adult children). We had plenty of room, the beds were comfortable, the accommodations were clean and spacious, with lots of woodwork and great views. The kitchen was adequate for our needs (we mostly did breakfast and lunch in the apartment and...

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and secluded. We had the two top floors. Loved to spend the evenings on the balcony reading. Pool was great and had a nice view. We spent lots of time fighting over who got the hammock that night. Washing machine in kitchen came in very handy as this was towards the end of our...

We booked almost a last minute trip to Quepos after our plans for Cabo San Lucas fell through as a result of the hurricane. Having been in the area before and wanting to get away from everything for a while, we were looking for something quiet, surrounded by jungle and wildlife and without a lot of people at the same...

Located on a secluded hilltop between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park (few mins drive). Well furnished, clean, stocked kitchen and comfy cozy chilling on the balcony hammock. Almost forgot to mention the pristine pool and jacuzzi and the family of squirrel monkeys that hang out in the nearby trees outside the balcony. Kristina was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly....

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at Villa Kristina in Apt 3 in March 2013. Kristina is accommodating and attentive. We had some "visitors"--ants--- the first night and by the time we were back from our adventures in Quepos and Manuel Antonio, Kristina had taken care of them! Apartment 3 was perfect for 2 people, just enough space to...

I just got back from Costa Rica (June 20,2014), visiting with my 21 year old daughter, who booked the property. Kristina is a great gal from Sweden who had the guts and determination to make a paradise in the jungle for you to enjoy. Tall, dense trees all around, an infinity pool, jacuzzi, hammock and exotic flower garden make this...

“The upstairs bedroom of apartment 1 has a narrow, spiral staircase, so use caution if this would be difficult for any of the guests. Other than that it's a great apartment with a wonderful view of the rainforest canopy.”

“If you want an ocean view - go for apartment 1 - very spacious and can sleep 4 with the upstairs second bedroom/bath. It's a partial ocean view but a great view of the gardens. The monkeys will come right by the balcony.”
