This place was underwhelming forsure. I've stayed in plenty of hostels in CR and this was definitely the worst I've been too and the most expensive. There's not really a common area just a couch with a small tv up high. Plus there was one man/boy there that was aggressive and rude and other posters on hostel world mentioned him...

The hostel is a little tucked away, which makes it nice and quiet, but with a bus stop feet from the place, getting to Quepos Beach and Manuel Antonio National park is incredibly easy and cheap. The rooms were nice, breakfast was fantastic, and the owner even took the time to show us some of the titi (squirrel monkeys) that...

Great hostel. The owner is very nice, helpful and speaks excellent English. You get free breakfast on the balcony and he is a good cook. Comfortable beds for a dorm room, with lots of fans to keep you cool. Very affordable! It is located in a great spot, close to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio, with buses that run from...

We stayed in Quepos as a stopover on our way further south, and I'm glad we didn't stay more than a night. The building itself looked closed down or abandoned from the outside. The owner was very accommodating, but when we arrived he (and his girlfriend?) were watching TV in their space which is in the middle of the guest...

When we arrived at the first time we were greated by the very nice hostel owner in the empty building. He even gave us a refreshing coca cola, very friendly. The room for 2 people had a bunk bed, a fan and a bathroom. To climb up the bunk bed wasn't easy but I did it. When I opened the...

The owner is really friendly and very helpful. Gives you a lot of tips to go around and explore and it is always willing to help you around and make you comfortable. Also he prepares very good and cheap food. Breakfast included is a plus. Although the place gets really hot during the day and lacks a bit of ventilation....

The owner just surprised us with cooking a really nice dinner with our basic ingredients we brought. He just added some of his food and served us a delicious dinner. The room and bath were clean, beds comfortable and no problems with any noise. We stayed for one night. Later in the evening he showed up with hot chocolate. Have...

Spent 2 nights there lately and had good stay. Owner is very friendly, helpful and a great cook. Had a great brekkier every morning. Rooms are average, little bit too hod and because it's next to the main road then it can be really noisy. As long you have earplugs should be okay. Owner showed me some great wild life...
