The staff is absolutely wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful...they bend over backwards to meet your knees. Beautiful grounds, comfortable, cozy common areas, large rooms. Delicious breakfasts. Great place to escape to Costa Rica!

We are a family of 6, living in Guanacaste and thus come to San Jose occasionally for certain services. We have historically stayed at another inn, but wanted to try something new with our most recent trip and stayed at Bjorn's Posada El Quijote. This will certainly become our lodging of choice in the city. The customer service is great...

Dear Sullivan family, We are glad you chose Posada el Quijote for your last trip to San Jose! It is always very nice to have families with kids here - especially for our kids. Even though we were a bit busy while you were here and our kids did not get to meet/play much, they were asking about your kids...

My visit was exceptional. Not only is the Posada El Quijote a very beautiful place , but the true value of the experience there is the staff and owner. They are competent , helpful, informative and genuinely make you feel welcome there.

Loved this place. They have dogs & cats & they are pet friendly. Our dog was afraid to go outside at the Hampton Inn but this quiet neighborhood calmed him immediately. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping. English spoken; friendly staff; nice breakfast. Did I mention gorgeous viewx

Dear Delia, Thank you for the positive review! We are very glad to read that you enjoyed your stay! best regards, Bjorn To all readers: please note that although we are pet friendly, it is only a couple of rooms where we allow pets (and generally not in common areas) in order to prevent any issues with allergies etc.

The customer service (both the front desk staff and the owner) were outstanding. The view is great and the property is in a lovely setting in a residential neighbourhood and feels very homey. The rooms are fine and quiet. The only downside is that you may need to take taxis to get anywhere, whereas I prefer to walk.

This is the best hotel in San Jose in my opinion. The service is second to none - you feel like you are at home. The breakfast is fantastic, and this place has the best bacon I have ever had in my life!! No lie. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. Very clean, and a great value. Thank...

We really enjoyed our stay at Posada El Quijote. It was beautiful, charming, quiet and safe. San Jose is a quick bus ride away, but you feel removed and at peace from the city noise. The staff was very helpful; bringing us coffee on arrival, recommending transportation and tours, places to visit after San Jose, etc. It was such a...

up in the montain, amazing view on San José and the volcanos. Very nice garden, big rooms with comfortable king size beds. Big bathroom. Very nice leaving room and dinning room. You will have to ring the bell for the staff to open the gate. You can park inside. Very friendly staff. Excellent value.
